The super falcons face the bayana bayana of South Africa in a mouthwatering semi final clash.

The Nigerian falcons topped group A, scoring 12 goals and conceding just two as Ivory Coast, Zambia and then hosts Namibia were put to the sword in ruthless displays. South Africa on the other hand, only made sure of their qualification on the last group match, when they walloped Algeria 5-1, after first losing 0-1 and then drawing 1-1 with Cameroun and Ghana respectively.

Top scorer Desire Oparanozie (4 goals), goalkeeper Precious Dede, Asisat Oshoala and other rested players are expected to return to the falcons starting lineup in what is expected to be a pulsating encounter.

Venue - Sam Nujoma Stadium, Windhoek.

Lol.. The SF shouldn't underrate the Banyana o. They beat the Falcons 1-0 in the last AWC.

Nonetheless, Edwin Okon shouldn't start Esther Sunday on Wednesday. She still lacks a bit of intelligence with regards to passing the ball to a teammate at the right time. She's a good dribbler, but her constant desire to dribble 4 people could be nullified by an opposition coach who maps out an effective defensive strategy.

I'd rather put either Ordega or Nkwocha in the starting line up.

True. That game could have easily ended 5-0 to the Falcons, but the Namibian keeper had a blinder! She was superb.
It also shows that women's footie in Africa is growing.

Hehehehe, another predestened victory for nigeria. Bw, i think we are getting weary over winning the nations cup, just like the u20 girls, edwin okon's girls should atleast try and get to the semi's or finals of the world cup in canada, that will be good for our female football. I think with the set of players we are posing this time they shouldnt be any reason for any poor outings... Menwhile, nigeria 4 vs sa1. ***posting from francisca ordega's phone***

Esther sunday is a driver like victor moses, but her inability to pass the ball on time and not passing the ball are her biggest disadvantages...i love the girl, her pace, skills and ball control. Menwhile francisca ordega is good to go just like u've spoken **drops the mic**

South Africa think because their male national team is getting it right in the African qualifiers they also believe they can beat d falcons on Wed. Wishful thinking on their part. Bayana ll fall to the falcons d same way bafana ll fall to d Eagles in Nigeria. U can take that to the bank.
