Had to disturb my agent to send them an email reminding them of the resumption date which she did last week and the reply we got on the 16th was "the panel doctor has already uploaded them they have been referred to the Medical Officer of the Commonwealth for further assessment." And classes starts on the 27th.. Kindly advice

It means your medicals did not clear automatically perhaps due to some abnormal medical findings.If Moc did not find d condition disturbing, u ll be cleared soon but if otherwise..u may be asked to submit additional medicals within 28days....sometimes it may be up to 2-3months if a case of current or old TB is suspected....but you are not likely to be refused visa on common medical conditions...not even on TB! Patience is hence needed. you may want to talk to your school about this if you are not granted this week.

I think I mentioned this sometime ago but it wouldn't hurt to mention it again.

There is this course that is very hot at the moment. Australians are in desperate need for them....they are known as occupational/industrial hygienists. Masters of Occupational Hygiene and toxicology. These people can work almost everywhere;oil and gas, mining, construction e.t.c. After studies there are post graduate programs for them at oil and gas. Intel has it that Chevron cannot wait for them to finish studies before grabbing them for 5 years post graduate job and fly many of them to the states twice a year. Another intel has it that many of them are making between 1200-1500 dollars a day...this intel is an hygienist. One hygienist I met told me she was on 172.99 dollars per hour for a 10 hour per day 5 days a week job. Rio tinto is another company crazy about them and like I said, no one really knows about them...Australia I heard is desperate for them. They are short of hygienists in many industries.

They have their own registration body like health professionals. Many of them do fly in fly out...companies fly them to and fro location pluys accommodation and feeding all paid for plus their normal wage.

Graduate program is a program put in place by many companies to help a student transition from student life into the workforce...it's like fresh graduate doctors and their one year housemanship/internship...though they are on internship, they have a huge support network at work and also get paid what they should get paid no kobo deducted. I always advise students who have post grad opportunities to go for them...not only do they have full support from their superiors, they also get paid fully like any other worker with their experience.

Wen I actually went to xam clip hospital their X-ray machine was faulty so they had to find use their old machine and only five of my ribs showed and I told the lady that it might not be accepted she said they would refer me back if they didn't like the result. I still believe my result will come this week cause my parents having about six million tied up somewhere for 3months is really not a story to hear...

oz doesnt joke with health matter. How cld you have allowed xray showing 5ribs to be submitted? if you are d MOC, will u clear such xray without raising questions? well...i think u shld wait for the next action. .You may be asked to repeat the xray...otherwise decision on 5 ribs may not be favorable....just pray more! The panel doctors are good. They would have rejected d xray if truly five ribs were shown...now u have got patience your best alliance....

You need to send a mail to your school to notify them and prrobably apply for late enrolment and keep your hope alive

I believe u will receive a positive assessment especially because u are ACA. But u will need to hit a band score of 7 in ur IELTS(Academic). U can get assessed by CPA or ICAA. I used CPA. Sycapponia can be of help. He is currently doing his assessment. Goodluck

You will have to give more details. Which visa subclass is ur wife applying for? U mentioned her being Nominated. I guess u are talking about state nomination(SN). I don't really knw abt SN and if General IELTS is accepted. But if its subclass 189 and she is trying to get a +ive assessment and thereafter apply thru SkillSelect, she will need to get a band score of 7 IELTS(Academic) and apply to the assessing authority of her choice which I mentioned b4.

It is the assessing authority that determine the one to use. Immigration will use any of them provided you have been positively assessed by the authority concerned, I think the assessing authorities for accountants require Academic 7 to be positively assessed.
