If you apply through uni-assist, you first fill the form online, then print and send the printed copy along with your credentials to uni-assist.
ogompaul:

I didn't do it myself, I had someone who had a credit card do it for me. Because it is faster that way, max 3 days the money is in ur uni-assist account. But there's a way to pay through bank, it's on this thread, you will have to search back pages, early pages. It will take like 6 weeks to process, if I am not mistaking.
It use to be 68 euros for first application and then 15 euros for any other school. It is now 75 euros for first application and 15 euros for subsequent application no matter how many.

I think I have answered that.

jux reserve my comment..
some are taught in english and some german..
think the best so far i can attend iz uni Duisburg Essen
I have an HND in mechanical engineering and I am also aiming for a Bsc like you. I checked uni Duisburg though the course would be taught in English and German it is clearly stated that when German lectures will commence that EXAMS will be written in German o. Even if you are taught the language will you know it well enough to be able to write your assessments in pure German? German language no be beans o. Someone once said it's a language you learn for a lifetime. Though not to discourage you I am only sharing my thoughts. For me I would say stick to Rhine Waal since its 100% English lecture and exams. There is another school Carl Benz teaching mechanical engineering in 100% English but the tuition no be moin moin.

I just checked Duisburg they require atleaset B1 in German for you to even be considered for admission. Personally, I would say don't restrict yourself to only mechanical engineering like me am looking at other good engineering courses like bioengineering, engineering and physics, even business& engineering..in short anything engineering you will have a better shot since you already have an engineering background and I have been informed that Germany needs engineers incase you plan on staying back to work. The only problem is this OND you are having. I don't know why people are hoarding info on this forum. Please help a brother out. @Gadaffi please release the names of the 7 schools admitting with OND please abeg. Anybody in the house please help

Thank you. Please my questions pertains to survival especially when the money in the blocked account has been exhausted and one is faced with reality. Will it be possible to secure a source of livelihood especially a lady like me. What kind of feminine jobs can I do to meet up with rent, feeding, semester fees and other miscellaneous? also bearing in mind that my studies must not suffer. Will it be possible to combine both studies and work conveniently? I am gonna have to resign my job for this major milestone and I need to be sure its worth it. Thanks

no they don't require B1 or A2 German to get admission. that was wat I thought until someone in nairaland got admission without German and I had to go back and check well.

daad doesn't have a say to how school admission. if d school says it gives admissions without German then it does. but I still think Rhein Waal is better.

I don't think anyone can answer your question upfront undecided , Even if you want people to guess what the specific reason for denial was, you didn't tell whether it was through the blocked account or sponsorship method as well as give other important details.

For new folks in the house and especially Mr. Obfuscated (@kuzee) you claim to have done your research but from your questions I can tell you still have not done enough when it comes to reading this thread meticulously, leaving you as flustered, flummoxed and confused as you are shocked {no offense} please do your self a good favor by doing this because the previous pages are full of the problems, solutions and experiences others encountered on their way to Germany. After this feel free to come back with questions. Strongly over 80% of problems you guys are going through have been trashed in the past.
I slightly agree with @gadafitruth since he later gave you clues to your OND application puzzle. Research is very important on this journey so spoon feeding is frowned on by many here (e.g @naijaobi and others) . Mein zwei Loffel.

i dnt see reason why people can be hoarding important information jux coz we are too lazy to research. or for their selfish motive..to be frank i want to graduate and work there permanently coz it a technology country nd i love my course a bit..porting to other course wnt suit my taste..rhine waal jux seem to b d best nd easy..but i hav to go a long way..

Its always nice to read the thread after a day off.....Some of us harsh small....grin
For those searching for school, my advise is for you to school is to keep searching and searching....I spent weeks, checking DAAD EVERYDAY and deep into the night, sometimes taking notes and may not even eat until 3-4 PM sometimes before I could find 1 suitable course offering my choice in winter considering the fact that I started preparing late and most school have closed. There is always a school out there if only you search. Don't be rigid in your choice, be open too to other courses. Also, endeavour to check the course website there could be some more info there which may not be available on DAAD.
I will take time out today to do a personal research on OND and SSCE accepting schools..its just that my mind dey for prayers...my mind dey many things.
I saw DANNIEmore and naijaobi and reeky and spenx yesterday...Nice to meet them, great guys. naijaobi before you leave, give person the responsibility of feeding akamu ogrin
I appreciate all the prayers you guys prayed..I believe God is still a miracle worker... here is the update with my situation. Someone, a nairalander suggested I wrote the embassy to collect the old letter from them which I did and they agreed. I got it yesterday and I sent it same day through another person travelling yesterday with a written note to my sponsor....getting him is still hard, but for the brief period he answered my call I was able to briefly tell him that I would send the stuff to him...I pray things work out fine... The embassy said the authority that issued it could mail them a scan copy and I wouldn't need to send it myself..However, I was thrown into a small panick when I realised that I had laminated the letter because it was raining cats and dogs the day I went to collect it from the address my cousin sent it. Now I was trying to remove the lamination, the thing no gree so I send am like that...but I know say God wey start am no go abandon me.
.......coming back after this post.

May be she didn't impress enough or come up with good reasons why she wants to study and may be she didn't know much about her course...since the statement was not specific, I will advise that she goes through all the questions that she was asked and try to see the ones she didn't really answer well, then she can base her appeal on that..
Here is a post I got from someone who copied from someone on this thread sometime ago. but you can check similar posts to add one or two things.
"The questions are basically the same though the order might slightly change in respective cases.
However here is a brief rundown of the matter:
1. What course did you study in your first degree?
2. Can you speak German?
3. What have you been doing since you finished school (info on NYSC and post-NYSC work experience)?
4. Why do you wish to study in Germany (at least 3 different reasons)?
5. Why don't you study the course in Nigeria, Uk, US or any other country?
6. What do you know about Germany (brief summary of German history, politics, demographics and economy)?
7. How many semesters is your intended course of study, and how many years will it last?
8. How many courses are you going to offer in your first semester?
9. Name all the courses in each semester?
10. What do you intend to do immediately after finishing the study program?
11. If you return to Nigeria which organizations do you intend to apply to for work?
12. Who sponsors your finances for the whole trip (if available attach evidence of extra funds apart from the blocked 7,908 Euros; extra funds between N80,000 - N100,000)?
13. What is the relationship between you and your sponsor(s), and what do they do for a living?

These are the much I can remember for now, and they are basically what you will experience too.

Above all, my advice is to dress neatly, walk smartly up to the official only when called, and talk clearly/confidently."
After evaluating her performance using these tools, she will know where and how she fell short of expectations.
Hope you find it helpful.
Good luck!

Unless you are bent on not learning german spending a whole year in germany you should learn a significant amount of german especially if you are studying in a small town.

Please note, some of the universities with english taught courses require toefl or ielts even if your entire education has been in English.
