KingRuckus: That is all you need to do, deposit complete amount of money covering your fees and maintenance money and leave it for 28days before printing the bank statement. you can't contro exchange rate. 1 Like |

justwise: I wonder why people prefer to keep the amount in naira when exchange rate can be unfavourable esp in Sept. Why not get the money in pounds? That's what I did and didn't bother about exchange rates and stuff. |

KingRuckus: I don't know about the present rules but when I did, I had a domicilliary acct and kept the money for the 28 days. Bought over time whenever the rates favoured me. Didn't get any queries on that and got my student visa. |

KingRuckus: It is allowed but would definitely cost you more as you can only change it through black market |

constance234: Hi, i have been ok. They will not include your English score in the CAS. They will only say that, as a Higher Education Institution, they have accessed your English language capability and that it meets with the requirement. That is also what you would tick in your VISA application form. Also, remember to give them the exact name of the documents you're submitting, as it was written on the document, so you won't get into unnecessary trouble with the visa officer |

Hello @Justwise and other distinguished members of the House, please how do I pay my tuition. My visa debit card was declned. I contacted Diamond Bank and was told that my limit is below the 50% tuition I am supposed to pay. Since Monday, diamond bank has been posting me and have not provided a solution. I don't have online banking access Andy funds are trapped in their bank. Please what do I do. |

Re: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part2 by blank(f): 8:50am On Oct 22, 2014 |
MallamYahaya: You can pay up to the amount allowed by your card and then pay the rest via international bank transfer. If the part payment is not possible, pay via international transfer. As in go to the bank and tell them that you want to make an international transfer. Have the bank sort code and other info with you. It is more expensive as the bank will charge fees and the receiving bank will also charge fees. Ensure, you know the exchange rate going to be used. |

Hi Guys, I am going to apply for a general visit visa to the Uk this October for my graduation which is set to happen in November. This is because my student visa expired before the event. I have all the necessary documents including the visa support letter from my school. However, I am confused about the bank statement required. It says that the statement should be of the last 6 months. I have a statement from January to July. There is hardly any activity on the account but it will cover the trip. Is this OK? Please advice. |

hello @justwise i just finished filling my form, perusing thru i saw that i have been confused all along by this 2 columns 1-Have you been issued any visa for the UK, UK Overseas Territories or Commonwealth in the last 10 years? 2-Have you travelled outside your country of residence, excluding to the UK or a Commonwealth Country, in the last 10 years? I have been to only commonwealth countries just to have second opinion and be sure which is applicable to be? Thank you |

Yes ......state the commonwealth country. 2.Have you travelled outside your country of residence, excluding to the UK or a Commonwealth Country, in the last 10 years? Yes....just like the above answer ^^^ you have visited a commonwealth country. |
