Hello good people Please advise me. I'm about to send my forms to CES 1. With the 15 weeks estimated processing time and alternative use of limited funds, from your experience which is advisable? the regular mail that costs nothing or international courier of $75 2. I just got to know of WES on this thread, i had my school send my transcript to CES yesterday only to later learn of the 15 weeks processing time. Why is CES so much slower than WES ehn? thanks |

F4fola:If the both certificates/degrees are from same school and you're sure you can realistically follow it to a logical conclusion, evaluate both. But if you're sure it will be difficult to follow both at the same time,I will advice you should evaluate the highest degree at of the two. Nonetheless, evaluating both will give you an additional one point even though it may take longer to finish evaluation if you are not able to follow it on your side. Cheers. |
Re: Canadian Federal Skilled Worker Program-timelines Here by damkollins(m): 4:43am On Oct 22, 2014 |
abyurla:1.The main difference is how long it will take you to receive the evaluation when completed.Regular mail may take up to a month while international courier will be received within a week. All is down to the urgency with which you need the evaluated result and the cash at hand......its all your choice and your call. 2.Its their standard procure duration of processing that makes the difference. Cheers |

damkollins:A diploma won't give a B.Sc or B.Sn any one point oh. It is 21 points based on the highest degree only. |

People, under work experience, how employer go give all these information requested for? Did anyone successfully obtain this from his previous employer? Work Experience For the principal applicant: • Letters of reference from all your employers for the past 10 years. Letters must be: • written on company letterhead, • signed by the responsible officer/supervisor, • show the company's full address, telephone and fax numbers, e-mail and website addresses, • stamped with the company's official seal (if applicable). Letters must include all of the following information: • the specific period of your employment with the company, • the positions you have held during the period of employment and the time you spent in each position, • your main responsibilities and duties in each position, • your total annual salary plus benefits in each position, and • the number of hours worked per week in each position. |

Wished I had known about this page earlier. I seems to be having some difficulties and will appreciate people's comment/advise.o I have a BsC and a masters in Petroleum Geology but have 8 years experience in Banking (responsibilities more like a Bank Clerk supervisor) and writing my ACCA presently (have a diploma certificate from ACCA). I have my WES report for my BsC and Msc and had an average of 7.5 in IELTS (Listening 8, Reading 7.5, Writing 7, Speaking 7) while my wife has an average of 7. I have a job reference letter in the approved format from my bank ( 6 years of my experience relating Bank Clerks Supervisor) Now the issue is my academics does not have anything to do with finance. Can I still apply for it? I have a diploma from ACCA in finance, can I add that as a qualification even though it was not included in WES verification. will appreciate u r urgent help. Thank you |

Re: Canadian Federal Skilled Worker Program-timelines Here by yomifowe(m): 3:06pm On Oct 22, 2014 |
akanni: Well, I did. I was able to. In other for you to get this, you might have to attach that page of the checklist to you application letter to your previous employers. Not only that, you have to follow up with calls and build a relationship, stressing the need for the format to be adhered to. Not only that, pray for God's favor. |

All in the name of having a perfect processing. I did my diploma and Bsc in the same university. The diploma (satelite campus) had to be done to gain the admission then. Though it was done as a direct entry to the university. I only sent my BSc to WES and it has been evaluated to four years equivalent. Mind you, I started from 200level in the university (3yrs in all). Now, do I include my diploma along with my BSc with ECA in the package? If yes, can I use notification of result? As I don't have a ceritficate OR should I omit the diploma? Thanks |

Hello Collins and other Gurus in the house, Pease i need your opinion on an issue concerning my FSW application. I applied for FSW2013/2014 on 23 April2014. Early this month, i sent update documents as accra requested. But today, i got a phone call from one Mr. Henry claiming to be working on my file. After asking me some questions, he then said there are some technical errors with my application and that i need to settle him to waive it away. i have asked him to mention the errors, but he refuse. please i want to know if 1. Accra do call on phone? 2. How do i handle this situation. [I have informed him that i'm NOT going to settle anything, He can take his decision. But then i'm confused]. N/B: for you info, i used an agent. could he be behind all this? |
Re: Canadian Federal Skilled Worker Program-timelines Here by Nobody: 7:47pm On Oct 22, 2014 |
4lashyme:Scam..someone definitely has your details, someone who is aware that you applied for FSW. Could be friend or family. The only people i know that try blackmailing applicants are some staff at one of the designated centers for medicals. |

Hello House, Damkollins, Solomonwis, and others, please I need your honest advice. I think i need to act fast to avert possible decline or delay. My application was received on June 30 and I'm yet to be debited. I have been monitoring the order of CC charging on another forum since its "first cone first served" and found out some hours ago that July 7 applications are being charged at the moment. I assumed the charging was done on a week by week basis, June 30-July 4 being in the same week. I am now guessing they are having difficulty charging my card since my app hasn't been returned. I use a First Bank MasterCard. I contacted my closest branch but he guy i met seemed clueless. Is it possible to contact Interswitch directly? What should I do pls? I do not want to more miss the chance having waited for so long. I know CIC will only try 3 rimes before they return your app. Pls help!!! |
