4lashyme:Accra visa office won't call you for any background check ...rather ,they will send a mail to you. I'm sure you can find the true identity of the caller with some application on your fone since you have the number. Relax and let him starve to call you back again .....then drill him. Have you gotten your medicals ? What did Accra request from you in form of document requested? Cheers. |

scrollmeout: I will advise you to take it cool. There are applicants of late June that are still being charged. Never loose hope. You said you want to act fast. Then I think you need to contact your bank. Call their Customer service people, Go to a branch or something. Is your card interswitch? Call interswitch too. You need to act very fast. Personally, I think this is a lesson learnt for potential applicants: It is better to use a credit (not debit) card or Bank draft. With the case above, there can be failure from either Mastercard, Interswitch or First bank. I share your pain but I pray it will turn to good news and happiness. |
Re: Canadian Federal Skilled Worker Program-timelines Here by scrollmeout(m): 8:16am On Oct 23, 2014 |
ANBAKO: Thank you for your reply. Like i said in my post, i have visited the bank - twice, but the guys seem clueless. For now, maybe i'll try to contact Interswitch, i'm not sure how but i'll have to try. Frankly, this waiting game is painful - i pray i laugh at the end of all this |

All in the name of having a perfect processing. I did my diploma and Bsc in the same university. The diploma (satelite campus) had to be done to gain the admission then. Though it was done as a direct entry to the university. I only sent my BSc to WES and it has been evaluated to four years equivalent. Mind you, I started from 200level in the university (3yrs in all). Now, do I include my diploma along with my BSc with ECA in the package? If yes, can I use notification of result? As I don't have a ceritficate OR should I omit the diploma? Thanks |
Re: Canadian Federal Skilled Worker Program-timelines Here by ANBAKO: 3:58pm On Oct 23, 2014 |
HenryIX: My personal opinion is that if you have enough points without the diploma, please don't add it. I had a ND, BSc and MSC but only use the latters for application. What is ECA's evaluation? |
Re: Canadian Federal Skilled Worker Program-timelines Here by HenryIX: 5:35pm On Oct 23, 2014 |
ANBAKO: Thanks ANBAKO for your response. WES evaluation gave me 4 years. Though I didn't assess for my diploma. I think i'll just omit the diploma as you said. With the Bsc, I already have my 67points. |
Re: Canadian Federal Skilled Worker Program-timelines Here by Nobody: 5:53pm On Oct 23, 2014 |
HenryIX:U can include it just to tell your life story better not that WES and CIC would award any points on it. If I'm to lodge now..I would include my diploma and degree for CIC but evaluate only my M.Sc! |

Hi All, There a total of 11 forms listed at www.cic.gc.ca which are used for FSWP. I am applying for permanent residence under federal skilled worker visa program 2014. I am single and live with my parents. My parents are financially dependant. I have never lived in any other country except my country of residence for more than a month. I am not using a representative for my visa application. In my opinion I need to fill out the following forms: 1. Generic Application Form for Canada (IMM 0008) (PDF, 536 KB) 2. Schedule A: Background / Declaration (IMM 5669) (PDF, 286 KB) 3. Schedule 3: Economic Classes – Federal Skilled Worker (IMM 0008 – Schedule 3) (PDF, 191 KB) 4. Additional Family Information (IMM 5406) (PDF, 79 KB) 5. Fee Payment Form – Application for Permanent Residence (IMM 5620) (PDF, 27 KB) 6. Document Checklist – Centralized Intake Office (IMM 5612) (PDF, 233 KB) and don't require to fill out the following: 1. Additional Dependants/Declaration (IMM 0008DEP) (PDF, 472 KB) 2. Supplementary Information – Your travels (IMM 5562) (PDF, 21 KB) 3. Separation Declaration for Minors Travelling to Canada (IMM 5604) (PDF, 21 KB) 4. Statutory Declaration of Common-Law Union (IMM 5409) (PDF, 19 KB) 5. Use of a Representative (IMM 5476), if applicable. (PDF, 55 KB) Am I correct? Please guide me. Thanks. |

scrollmeout:On the alternative, please try to contact your back physically and asked if there is a pending transaction on your account. A buddy of mine was in same issue yesterday. It was at Gtbank that it was realized that there was a pending transaction from CIC on the account which needs the applicant's approval. Once the approval was given, the account was debited immediately. Funny thing is that the banks sometimes do not give approvals for such transactions and they will never notify applicants for such. When this happens after about 48 or 72 hours, the transaction will be denied. This has happened to me before and cost me alot of additional waiting time which is why I always advised applicants to go for demand draft(DD) because not all applicants find it rosy with credit card debit. I really pray yours do not fall into this category....please visit your bank and explain further to a senior bank official to the one you have met before. Cheers. |
