In your ethnic group what are some of the typical things people use divinations for? I assume some would fall under the "hows, whys, to do and not do, etc." The hows How do I/they/it...? How did I/they/it...? How will I/they/it...? The whys Why do I/they/it...? Why did I/they/it...? Why will I/they/it...? The to do The not do What are others? On what occasions are they invoked(birth, new building construction, health problem, etc.)? |

Note: BTW, That's not a knock on your reply in any way. As a person with a software background the Idea of using divination as a data base retrieval method is interesting(though I don't think that's what you meant) Actually I'm not terribly clear on what your first answer was referring to.  |
