Sincere9gerian: What nonsense talk are you saying? The fact that the NSA and the presidency carried out this trxn without the approval of National assembly calls for concern. Also the fact that they did not involved the SA govt calls for more concerns...The pastor who represents a relispiritual body(CAN) in Nigeria should not drag the exalted seat to mud by romancing with the politicians...Anglican okogie admitted the pastor should not be dining with the politicians who are knowned to be develish..The private jet belong to CAN president?this is serious..The cbn brought a law that physical cash transfer is against the law,yet they allowed this..let's see what the financial reporting council of Nigeria will say |

danjumakolo: seriously!!!!!!!! Arms deals are always in CASH thats if you have done any before which i guess answer is no ... government make the rules for people like you and me , not for the political elites , why do you think someone will go out and buy private jet ? why do you think private jets are on the rampant from Asia to Africa ... its because this is the only way Elites Move there funds and drugs... Government all over the world as a body is a fraud because in every developed country only when you refuse to do what the elites want , you get to front page of a news paper , but if you play according to rules you ball with the elites!! its happening in the US , Europe , Russia and China... and the government does what the BIG BANKERS TELL THEM OR THEY CRASH THEM!!! 3 Likes |

diablos: Nigeria was instrumental to their independence, Last week the high commissioner addressed Nigeria as Brother Am just waiting for Liar Mohammed to hold another press briefing and spread propaganda as usual. I love the presidency's maturity in responding to the issue, the bad area was where they threatened to shut down their businesses and firms in Nigeria, it sounded immature 1 Like |

danjumakolo: Your argument is so silly and uninformed. Did you check with the defense ministry to see how much was budgeted for capital projects? Since when do ministries require approval from National Assembly to spend from their yearly budgets? Did you know that the $5.3m was sent by bank transfer first before the desperation of using raw cash? moreover this is a black-market operation raw cash is allowed. The problem with you is comprehension the NSA engaged a private security firm own by an isreali security expert Eyel Mesika to purchase the arms on behalf of the FG. The FG has no business contacting SA directly, that's the arms dealer perogative. If not for mischief purpose the CAN President did not play any role directly or indirectly in that transaction he leased out his jet already to a firm to manage and with the official statement from Green Coast claiming responsibility for renting out the jet to the arm dealers he was exonerated from that moment. The cardinal spoke in a very derogatory manner jealousy was evident in his tone calling the CAN president and the President money launderers without proof is very appalling and shameful of a man of his caliber he should tender and unreserved apology to the CAN President who has stood firmly for the advancement of Christians in Nigeria. 4 Likes |

Dmacaw: Another talk from a mentally blocked person...when did the national assembly stop approving yearly budgets for capital projects...No wonder corruption abounds everywhere. The fed govt should have compelled the Israeli coy, that trxn must be disclosed to the SA govt since it involves their land and airspace....also the fed govt opted for the Israeli coy over the European firm because the latter said the Geneva convention arms deal trxn must be followed..Fact is CAN leader should be seen in spiritual work and projects and not in things that involves acquiring wealth..l 1 Like |

jaytee01: What is wrong with that? You expect him to be hopping from house to house with the private Jet all in the name of evangelism For crying out loud, most churches have their itinerary (which include dates for major or out-of-station EVANGELISM program) for the whole year. For example, my church has Buses, we use it for commercial purpose, and engage them when it's time for our major or outside-city evangelism program. Some churches operates Transport business. Some churches operates mega religion bookshop. Some churches operates schools like universities. Guess what we do with the proceeds from these businesses? To fund EVANGELISM and CHARITY. This is just common sense! |

Chigold101: I guess the South African govt too was not privvy to same security information. And tht is what makes it short of due process. If it followed due process, there wouldn't have been any issue. |

[quote author=jaytee01 post=27436509]You are the silly one. Why are you so desperate in your defence of this illegalities? Or is d NSA also on NL?[/quote How easy its to spot illiterates and cankerworms instead of improving the quality of their argument they result to insults. I referred to his argument as silly and not him. you are so disappointed that the money was duly returned to Nigeria after SA concluded their investigation. if there was illegalities as you claim despite the NSA's stand that the transaction was legal and the SA media confirming documents and receipts for the purchase of arms then SA should have withheld the money and stood their ground. |

Re: South Africa Returns Seized $15m To Nigeria by Dmacaw: 11:14am On Oct 25, 2014 |
danjumakolo: i maintain my stand the silliness of your argument just increased a 100 fold so after the national assembly approves the yearly budgets of ministries, ministries would still require another round of approval from National Assembly before spending? So when you do business with a private firm you give them directives on how to do there jobs? Until you proof the CAN presidents direct or indirect involvement in this arms deal and how it means wealth acquisition may your siliness never seize. 1 Like |
