atlwireles: Ofcourse it in built for you and your ilks to run when faced with the reality of how silly and infantile your arguments are. Like i said google is available to you to find out the truth if you're in dare need of it rather than tell us "I carry jerrycan" that's so sentimental don't you think so. I can act as an uncle to you when you're in dear need of education and enlightenment on Nigeria's political evolution over time. I'm the best search engine you can ever think of. Go through this thread and ask yourself who sound more coherebt, factual and make more sense between us. You who never knew there was a ECN before NEPA was formed and "I carry jerrycan on head" fame. You're as pathetic as they come. Illinformed, chestbeating illiterate and ethnic jingoist. Run along you gay.gots 1 Like |

pendy79: You have said nothing but lie, like a jackass on this thread, why waste my time on you. By the way, yes I carried that Jerry can gracefully. The day, you believe you can become someone's uncle, that's the day , you should waste your sorry self. I like to debate, but truth, must be at the center of it. You have none. You even have gonads to call someone a queer? Someone needs to shove a shit soaked bread down your mouth. 4 Likes

pendy79: Dimka overthrew Shagari . You started lying right here again. Was ECN still functional in 1983? Remember, that was what you said. You did not say predate. But you called NEPA, ECN in 1983, Ogbeni, kilode . |

atlwireles: Dimka that was killed in 1976 overthrew shagari? Are u drunk or high on cowdung? I've told you to consult me your uncle before you post on NL to limit your show of ignorance, I was used to ECN you were used to NEPA what ever name I call the power holding authority of the time is what I'm used to. Tolexander:After searching unsucessfully for such solid mind for over 50 years shouldn't we try a new strategy? Isn't that common sense? Corruption used to be rampant in NITEL of old but after the reforms in the telecomms sector corruption in that sector simply disappeared. The same thing has now happened to NEPA. Our electoral system is being improved upon with the use of new systems and technologies. The idea of announcing results at every polling unit was a system devised to check manipulation. INEC says it will deploy card readers in the next election. Electronically collected biometrics is being used to check ghost workers in federal MDAs. These are all systems based solution to corruption 5 Likes |

@Pendy79. I understand that TANdroids are annoying but you will never prove anything to them because of fundamentalist indoctrinations which predisposes them to supporting GEJ fervently regardless of whether he is performing or not. I implore APC fans, as was the case when NL had a semblance of being issue-based, to ignore Jonathanians on threads like this so we can focus on the substantive message. I would personally have preferred a focus on scrutinising the details of this 6 point APC agenda, which would be implemented by any eventual APC President, rather than entertain diversionary talk about Buhari and 53 suitcases. APC supporters must simply conduct themselves with more awareness otherwise we will get bogged down by a drowning team GEJ with nothing to sell their messiah on hence their resolve to settle on a desperate agenda of making the APC Presidential candidate one that Nigerians must reject. they are doing this on every thread and APC supporters should now be wise to their antics. Even on this thread, do we see even one Jonathanian inspect the workability and potential efficacy of this 6 point agenda to confirm that they still believe in what is best for Nigeria and are ready to discuss those issues objectively instead of demonstrating clannish commitment to a failed President as is always the case with them? Supporters of the APC need to be wise and pragmatic. You cannot stop others contributing to a thread but you can ignore them so that you make the thread about what you want it to be and the promotion of positive messages of good governance rather than a needless and insult-laden back-and-forth with desperado supporters of a failed President everyone is tired of. 3 Likes 1 Share |

Sincere9gerian:how long shall we continue to bank on foreign innovations to save our system from the total immersion in the fluid of corruption? NITEL was corrupt as a result of monopolistic market they enjoyed during the course of their existence. After the introduction of the GSM, NITEL died since they couldn't withstand the new competition. Moreover, GSM was not "solely" introduced to flush out corruption in NITEL. Hence the reason for someone to look into the system and take the bull by the horns. Mind you, NITEL has only died, corruption hasn't ended in NCC. Even if new systems will be introduced, nigerians will definitely be in charge of the system or will the system be a robot? Even robots are controlled by programing! Will the new system work if there is still corruption in the land tackling corruption with corruption? 1 Like |

@Topic. This 6 point agenda is actually abridged. Genuine supporters of the APC will know that the Party has stonking, pro-people, socialist and genuinely transformational plans for Nigeria the elitist and private-jet oligarchy called the PDP would never contemplate in a million years let alone implement today or tomorrow. Which progressive Nigerians, for example, does not believe State Policing is the way to go given the complexity of Nigeria and the notion we have now got to a stage where particular policing solution must be applied to suit the peculiarity of Nigerian States? In a poverty-ridden Country where Senators laugh all the way to the bank yet unemployed young Nigerians suffer horribly and poor elderly/vulnerable Nigerians are without any help , is the APC plan of social welfare for these groups and other disadvantaged Nigerians not a very welcomed and needed initiative? People, let us face ideas so that Nigerians can see which Party has better plans for them. There is so much that needs to be done and the PDP is not interested in delivering even 2% of this. That is the harsh reality we face and that is why the anti-people and pro-elite PDP has taken Nigeria backwards in 16 years when nations are transformed massively in even half of that i.e 8 years. The plans of the APC show workable and badly needed initiatives that will transform Nigeria immensely. We can certainly choose to focus on this instead of being drawn into senseless discussion about Buhari's agbada or sunglasses. http://www.elotitv.com/entry/apc-our-plan-for-nigeria APC: our plan for Nigeria 1 Like |

@gbawe Your point is noted. They left the content of the thread and started a personality attack on GMB as if it was his campaign manifesto that the thread indicated. Giving them leeway to abuse and defame the character of the most prudent and the best anti-corruption crusader in the history of our country is allowing them to further continue in their foolery and allowing to spread rumor and outright lies about the integrity and personality of a man who directed the ministry of finance to pay him just 10% of what every past president or head of state earns. He collects 2.3mn to the over 23mn his colleagues collects monthly stating that is his own fair allowance and anything more is corruption. I'm ready to take them on as long as they spew rubbish and halftruths about him . |
Re: APC Six Points Agenda: State Of Origin To Be Abolished by Gbawe: 9:10am On Oct 25, 2014 |
pendy79: This is precisely my point. They are always going to do this because they have nothing to sell GEJ on. When threads like these should be used to show Nigerians the better and by far superior plans the APC has for them, it is us APC fans who can then bog ourselves down unproductively via entertaining the distractions of these losers who want the attention they know will derail the substantive point of threads like these. The elections are only a few months away and there is no profit to be gained engaging worthless TANdroids in a game of deceit they are clearly playing because they are not equipped to make affairs issue-based. Their messiah GEJ has failed all Nigerians massively. I just think we are better served focusing on the positives the APC offers instead of getting into the gutter with desperados and loser who are in the unfortunate position of supporting a leader who had 5 years to deliver solutions but was only capable of worsening things abysmally. There is a popular prayer in Nigeria which says God will help us avoid those whose lives are fully destroyed and are only looking for others to take down with them. This is how I see Jonathanians. I.e vile and intolerant bigots who now wish to do everything to support a failed leader most objective Nigerians, including those who voted for him in 2011, have rejected. 1 Like |

The truth has been spoken that all APC fans should ignore and shun Jonathanians on argueing trash. Tell me the military want to correct their error through APC and I will be excited. But the truth that the APC do not know is that this is democracy. If APC produce the president next year, do they think they will just make a declaration and it stands. Iota must go through the lower hose and the upper house and may never be realised. The case of Nigeria is a difficult one that cannot be solved by government because government cannot prosecute itself. The APC major candidate should have tested democracy in his state of origin they created during their military era and then we can see their strenght and ability for federal level. They should not think this is Military rule where they can easily call to other corrupt persons. The corruption has eaten too deep that no party system is the most ultimate way out. But before then, we need to do this. www.nairaland.com/1956737/resolution-not-revolution |
Re: APC Six Points Agenda: State Of Origin To Be Abolished by Gbawe: 9:41am On Oct 25, 2014 |
Sirniyeh: Thank you!!!! The APC is the Party with momentum and goodwill behind it. Why squander that by taking on the distractions of those who no longer have the "fresh air" or "boy with no shoes" ruse working for them? What GEJ benefited from in 2011, i.e being seen as the change Nigeria needed, is the very same factor that will banish him. He is no longer seen as "transformation" or a departure from the past. 5 years has shown Nigerians that GEJ, even with his PHD and lack of shoes, is actually more corrupt, more inept and a greater misruler than past leaders Nigerians expected him to be a departure from. APC is now seen as a change Nigerians have no choice but to embrace. We should promote the positive, vastly superior and genuinely transformational policies/initiatives of the Party rather than allow supporters of failed leadership to derail our focus and drag us into the gutter they deserve to occupy because of their clannish and ethnocentric support of a President who is universally acclaimed to be hideously corrupt and a monumental failure. We can allow desperate losers to make this about Buhari or we can dictate the pace to firmly make affairs about highlighting the monumental failings of the current Government that means Nigerians have no option but to embrace change. 2 Likes |

pendy79:If you were sensible, you would know that the reference to buhari as a coup plotter was to underline the fact that he truncated our democracy but now exhibiting grave desperation assume office again as a democratically elected president, a position that will continue to elude him. Talking about setting records straight, in other words you are justifying buharis coup plot on one breadth, and on another, telling us he was never involved in the coup but was called up from jos to come and assume office as the most senior officer, so which do we believe now Mr ostrich reactionist? Now tell us why you should not be confirmed as an incoherent liar just as ngwake and atlwireles has rightly labelled you earlier 1 Like |

shizzleStar: Are u sure you can read with comprehension at all. Where did I justify any coup plot at all or where did you hear of a coup plot orchestra by GMB? If you have any contrary fact to show that GMB rather than IBB, Abacha and TY danjuma where the brains behind the 1983 overthrow of Shagari, please put it forward here. Buhari was posted to Jos outside the corridor of power in lagos over the way he handled the Chadian invasion of nigerian territory by pursuing the fleeing chadians soldiers beyond chad itself into Libya and Niger republic which president Shagari felt was too bit hard on the chadians. If you feel Abacha, IBB and Danjuma truncated democratic governance I think they learn the act from your brothers Nzeogwu, anuforo and ifeajuna who were the first group of soldiers to ever truncate a democratic rule in Nigeria. They were the ones who brought coup and military rule into our polity. If you have facts to dispute my argument bring them forth if not please get off my mention.
