In a game like this, an AMF is left stranded if the DM and CMF are toothless. CMFs control the midfield, not AMF.

iniesta had a normal game, busquets was the dm, while xavi(right) and inesta(left) were supposed to be the attacking midfielders, xavi was mostly in the centre while iniesta played where he was supposed to, iniesta had no support in that left wing, neymar was shìt to me, mathieu isn't a left back, he had poor touches, poor passes, non of is crosses after iniesta or neymar gave a key pass to him, beat his first man, if alba had played, or neymar came to play the game, you'd be praising iniesta

I was expecting a midfield of Masch, Xavi and Rakitic, while iniesta plays upfront. I had already lost hope when I saw busi as DM really. Even when fit, he's not been the player we used to know let alone when just coming back from injury. Since Bale was not playing, I see no reason why Alba should not play with Matheu in his position. I was seriously anxious to see pique taken off for Alba, he almost gave away another goal. I just think the coach decided to play name over fitness and he has paid for it.

I said it that we need to sub mathieu, he tries in defence but he doesn't provide the support that's needed in attack, which is what Alba does pretty well.

Iniesta had a good game in the sense that he did his midfield duties well, apart from his costly mistake that led to real's third goal and the fact that he's not good at marking when we lose the ball, he played well. Heck, busi was supposed to do the marking job since he was the DM.

I think we need to start playin Mascherano as the default DM, he doesn't really link up the attack but he provides security for the defence and he always comes back if we lose the ball. Defence matters in big games like this

Iniesta is to be blamed for the 3rd goal, but what of Rakitic that played a bad corner kick therefore putting the rest of the team in that position of trying to stifle Madrid's counter.
