all the roads in "town" at ekpoma were tarred by ambrose alli. till today it has not needed any repairs. in fact, if you see the thickness of the tar, you will wonder if it would not have been enough to use and tar all of ekpoma.

Fmr. Bendel Governor Ambrose Alli was jailed for 100years for misappropriating funds belonging to Bendel State to the tune of N983,000. The Money was meant for road project but he donated it to his Party. He was later freed when Sir Gabriel Igbenedion paid fine to the Government. Ambrose Ali had claimed that it was the contractor incharge of the road project that GAVE him the money to give to his party-Which he did.
The Military Tribunal found him guilty for diverting State's money to his party.
Ali's Son still maintained that it was the contractor that Gave him(Ali).
Sir Gabriel Igbenedion paid a fine to have Ali regain freedom

On this note, Ali wasn't killed by anyone, he was instead jailed for misappropriation of public fund and not for embezzling-Both falls under corruption. He wouldn't have been jailed IF he hadn't given any money to his party.

Why not bring your fact? was Alhaji Sabo Bakin Zuwo, The Civilian Governor of Kano State who was jailed for 300Years for corruption a Southern Christian? Do you know the importance of Kano State in the North?
