what part of the camp are they building a new hostel? There was no construction when I was there. That camp is too old and i think the enugu state government should build a new camp like other state. The secret of getting a good hostel is by arriving in camp early. I was 3 days late to camp and I was among the last 25 to register and my number was 2637. I wasn't even allocated a bunk space. I didn't have any bunk in the first 2 night and I had to stay with a friend from my school. I had to assembly a bunk with a friend of mine on the 3rd day. My hostel was that hall beside the lecture hall that was were all late arrivals to camp were allocated in my time. It was always noisy and I prefer those hostels with room. Agwu was a really better sweet experience. Are you still serving?

Yeah I am... The new hostel is just by the side of nccf.... Close to where they sign book of life... Mine was hostel L but I was mostly with my guys in the OBS hostel because of the gym

If u wnt to serve in town without lobbying, join OBS bt accommodation in town is a problem if u are unlucky. Though some ppa's gv comfortable accomodation. Dnt try to kill urself in match past or d so called colour party thinking u will serve in town. Sometimes it doesn't work. Dnt make too much photocopies, at most 3 to each document is ok. In b14 we only used 1 photocopy of our statement of result. I never believed I'll miss camp till we pass out frm camp, so catch ur fun in a Godly way. Lastly, during fire alarm at mid night, dnt be in a hurry to leave even if d soldiers are shouting fire oh fire oh because dia z no fire anywhere and u myt get injured. I myt join them to camp on 25th wit our sch bus to pick our corpers. In awgu camp, shotput is sure. Buy waterproof for ur safety. Try to come early and HAVE FUN. I rep OBS HOSTEL aka d LION'S DEN

Bro, thx for info. are you really sure about the photocopy stuff, bcoz I heard we need to have 10 photocopies of our call up letter,statement of result n ID each

Guys one thing is certain,You all are goona enjoy the campin thing in enugu thou the first few das ain't easy tho wit water scarcity at times and all!bt trust me after the first week it's all fun all d way,from an ex_enugu corper,passed out FEB 2014, and I shld also remind u ur camp in on a hill and basically almost errwhr is hilly so be prepared .

Hi babe, hope u not too scared of Agwu camp? As regards the network 'issh', I think going with sim cards of different networks is the best bet. Any1 current serving should please shed more light on network and light 'issh' @ Agwu camp

(1) as early as 1916 ENUGU became one of the few developed cities in west africa during the colonial era because of the huge coal deposit not just that,the whitemen found out that there is something special about ENUGU.
(2) in 1938 ENUGU became the capital of the (whole) eastern region.
(3) on may 27th 1967 ENUGU became the capital of the newly created east central state.
(4) on may 30th 1967 the short-lived biafran republic was declared and ENUGU was made its capital.
(5) ENUGU still retained its status in 1970 as the capital of the east central state after the biafran war.
(6) on febuary 3 1976 the east central state was divided into two new states,imo state and anambra state....ENUGU again was made the capital of the newly created anambra state.
(7) August 1991,the military government led by ibrahim babangida divided anambra state into two states,ENUGU state and anambra state....ENUGU remained as the capital of the newly created ENUGU state!
