Fellow abt to be full fledged corpers(prospective corp members,otondo,ajuwaya),in abt 2 days the clarion call to serve ya nation beckons.congratulations to all who fall in either batch c stream1or stream2.To those who didnt make either of the cut,life still has a better package for you in the future.
Having come this far in your career pursuit,this period offer one adequate opportunity to take stock of the previous phase of your career experience(as an undergraduate),seek ways of charting a better course to a more "perfect "career life in the future.It also creates an opportunity to set new goals,discover new talents,make new friends,acquire new skills and venture into opportunities that present themselves.In a nutshell self development as well as society either in a positive or negative sense.
Having said the above,i pray for journey mercies to all the camps each corper member has been posted to.while in camp please adhere to every instruction and respect all camp rules and camp officials,even the soilders,but dont allow anybody make you less human.
The camp is a melting pot of individuals with different backgrounds and ideas and within the stipulated 3 weeks one gets to learn alot from their fellow human beings either in a positive or negative way.
Camp is full of activities and early morning rising but in all this PLEASE always make time to PRAY to ALMIGHTY GOD AND ALSO MAKE TIME FOR CHRISTIAN ACTIVITIES.

Please help me look into this situation. I really need to redeploy to Lagos after 3 weeks! My friend (actually a neighbor in same estate) dat works at MTN office in Falomo, V.Island wants to help me process a letter that can request NYSC to post me to their office since I'm a software engineer and they need some IT graduates, although I will work gidi gaaan but 40k monthly from mtn apart from federal allowee could cover my weekends too

My question is that how can I package the redeployment from abuja camp? Should I get medicals from Lagos before I leave or I'll av to get it in abuja? I know I will av my way around it in camp but I need a clue from here!

Get your medical reports in Gidi before going to camp. It isnt all that matters though. Ensure you go with some brown envelope as well. You might even not be needing the reports in camp if your package tight. You know what i mean But just in case they want to over charge you as per who you be Your medical reports will do the justice

The Almighty Reigns And Blesses Abundantly- thats TARABA acronym... one of the most peaceful North-eastern state, a good place with extreme weather conditions-cold, heat, rain n sun(Someone do say transport from Taraba to hell is just #50), was said to be a virgin land in our days(I hope it has not been disvirgined). In a word, you grab your opportunities as they come in Taraba either you are in the capital or not.

Some towns like Takum, Kurumi, Gembu are as far as 5, 9 hours to Jalingo(capital city). Some without banks, electricity, et al. Some only have huts as the residence (we call them CHANNEL O cos they are round)

Regardless of all these and the ones I didnt mention, whatever you say you want is what you get from Taraba cos I ve friends who stayed back after service and are making it there already. Some stayed back since 2004 and we met them there with good lives, married with kids.
