we are in de same shoe o, I gt microbiology tech in sslt, am tinkin of goin 4 it,nd change 2 biomedical tech or pharmacy,mcb,bcm if possible in 2nd yr, bt I will still take jamb nxt incase change of course doesn't work. I suggest u take dat soil science cos u dn't no if jamb wuld favour u nxt yr. Grab de available one nw,nd kip makin moves 4 a beta course.

I think you should drop d basic admsn ,go for d soil and crop science which u have gotten and then pickup jamb form cus in basic getting yor desired course z sometimes a 50/50 thing...

soil science is not bad,go for the supplementary cos u myt end up getn animal science after basic.

Deferment has its time which will be much later maybe in 4 - 6 months time, the underlying assumption is that you are register-able possessing currently all the required o levels without name inconsistencies and you must still pay for acceptance and accommodation plus the deferment fee.

Thank you. Please when you say without name inconsistencies, I changed my name when I go married and its my maiden name which reflects on my certificates but I have change of name documents, marriage certificate etc. Is there going to be a problem? My name on the admission list is my new name.

I don't think it's possible with that CGPA and in any case where it is possible I feel you will need to repeat year one, one of the reason being that year ones' exams(except GESs) are all supervised by the faculty to convince them the students really did well and worth what they score.
