Soldiers are running away from battle front to Cameroon and our president is moving millions of cash in dollars to South Africa to buy arms from black markets - maybe from the criminals that killed the South-African goalie.

Back to your question, Buhari is being flaunted to be incorruptible - I doubt this because it is so hard to find an incorruptible Nigerian. However, he seems to be decisive, out spoken and must understand that if he wins all eyes will be on him in terms of eradicating corruption from this country.

Since being out of power, Atiku seems to have changed his views and still trying to change the perception Nigerians have about him. Maybe he is yet to acquire more wealth or he longs for the privileges and power that accompanies the role of the Nigerian president. However, I find him to be more intelligent now. He also seems to be the most experience out of the lot.

Tambuwal, a clever lawyer. Quiet but outspoken. He looks appealing but I am not convinced he will deliver. He probably might be a figure-head for political godfathers.

Kwankwaso, in him I find a rash ambition man who is very much the typical nigerian political seeking for opportunities to fill their houses with gold. I do not trust him.

I will eliminate both Tambuwal and Kwankwaso because they are the average Nigerian Politician - the average nigeria politician is one who is after gold for himself and his friends and do not care about the masses.

Apart from Buhari signifying less corruption, I do not see any other appealing qualities in him. I also doubt if he would be able to eradicate corruption because he is no longer a dictator anymore and corruption is now institutionalized in this country - all thanks to Obasanjo and Jonathan. I can also confirm to you that corruption does not stop economic developments and progress. It may slow it down in some sectors but it does not stop progress e.g China. I do not see Buhari chasing an aggressive economic reform programme.

Finally Atiku, Atiku seems to be most experienced candidate in terms of decision making. He has been Vice President for 8 years and also a founding PDP stalwart before being chased away. He has engaged in a re-branding strategy by appealing to the youth via embracing social media and attending youth forums. He has also employed a team who has been working on his agenda. His main agenda is creating more employment opportunities for Nigerians. However, he also appears to be bitter with Obasanjo, Jonathan and some political PDP stalwart and may waste national resources on a vendetta drama. In him we may find another Obasanjo - out to eliminate foes in order to secure their position and possibly an economic boom - like the telecommunication and banking era. However, corruption may not decline

so if Atiku wins the primary, I may vote for him

I do not support blindly and will never put my conscience at such risk. For me, I think Atiku seems okay. Though I do not trust him that much. However, he seems to understand what the average Nigerian wants and that is redistribution of the Nigerian wealth and not just for the 1% alone. Nigerians want food on their plate, employment on their portfolio and probably some degree of security/safety. I will support a president that makes employment his main agenda than corruption. To avoid misunderstanding, I want corruption eradicated at least in public service, I also want equal justice for all but how do you fight corruption in this country? It is a wishful thought. Hence if Buhari is more interested in fighting corruption - No I will not vote for him because he will not deliver rather he will join them to continue from where they stopped.

Chief read before you comment. We have lost yorubas, igbos and other ethnic groups. It is not just kanuri speaking or hausa speaking people. This is a fight on Nigerians by Nigerians. Well radical Nigerians.

I now understand why Military governments in the past toppled political governments. An entire town in the North has been taken over by Islamists with the inhabitants fleeing to other places, or even outside the country, and our President hasn't uttered a single word, addressed a single press conference or even spoken out against it. Its just incredible! Instead a presidential spokesperson is coming out to criticise the APC for bringing the happenings in the North to the notice of Nigerians.
