Has ur status changed to 'Pending Interview'? What option did you choose during ur application: Commercial or Technical role??

well... those of you whose application is still under review should please move on - once ur application is under review its a sure sign it was kept to compare with other applicant and u have fallen short of the bench mark, as soon as the list of next phase IS READY. u will be sent a regret mail as usual, those of you whose application is pending interview, congrats and welcome to the next phase...

and what are you exactly? The recruiting manager of Shell?
@all please kindly ignore him. whilst it will be wise not to be overly hopefull, I will still urge you to keep your feet on the ground. that your status isn't "pending interview" now does not ipso facto vitiate your application process.

But my grouse is with the so-called people whose application now reads 'pending interview' and they can't report on this thread but would rather view from the sidelines for further info to further their own cause.

Shame on them!

Kudos to those people on the 2013 thread.

On the other thread I informed the crew on there that Shell changes people's statuses based on available vacancies first and foremost before any other thing. If you had gone through that previous thread you would have seen a handle Samdson or so who was kept on 'application under review' from May to August or September, meanwhile some others had done their medicals in August and were billed to resume in October of the said year.

The young man Maobe, that was interviewed by Shell on the 31st October applied on the 20th of October yet he was quickly scheduled and it had nothing to do with his many qualifications. He applied for the commercial position and I believe that is where Shell currently has vacancies to fill.

Those whose statuses have changed to 'pending interview' should kindly tell the house the position they applied for. Freer1 can do well to begin the trend. You would see that most of the people who make discouraging posts are doing so because they themselves have been jujitsu-ed off the recruitment process.

Good day guys, I finished my application on the 18th of October, my application status shows pending interview as at today. And I applied for Financial and Commercial role.

Instead of asking them when it changed, you are better of asking them what they applied for as it is a strong determinant. The SRDs would be conducted based on streams I.e whether Technical or Commercial. From what we can see thus far, commercial applicants are getting the status change and phone calls.

What bothers me though is that those being updated are among the last people who took their assessment.
I'm yet to see someone who completed their assessment btw 9-11th october being updated

I think those candidates who are being contacted all applied for Commercial Role. Or is there anyone here who applied for Technical Role and has been scheduled/contacted for an interview?

You can return the call from the numbers that called you. If it is a number from shell, you will get a VM "SPDC HR ..."
