Things have actually fallen apart in APGA the moment Ojukwu died so we shouldn't b surprised abt defection & appointment of the new governor. To me it's abt time because it's a good tin 2 struggle while collapsing/dieing (APGA) than surrendering 2 ur competitors (death) (PDP) without putting a fight it's called cowardice

They may not be big as other parties but Their candidates in government are the people choice. That's why I respect them.

You dont become a national leader or a chairman of Board of Trustee by virtue of experience, that position comes automatically with your political position. At the moment Obiano is the only member of the party that has the highest political post and with that comes the position of the leader and chairman of the BOT. This was what was obtainable in Labour party when Olusegun Mimiko was still in Labour party, he was the leader of that party and chairman of its BOT while Dan Nwanyanwu was the national chairman. This is the same thing in PDP except for the chairman of PDP BOT, GEJ is the national leader of PDP

The message is clear enough, APGA is no more an Igbo party but Umeh's property. Umeh is powerdrunk, he turned Obiano against Obi in his bid to control the party structure. Obi is gone, Umeh is satisfied. He purposely appointed Obiano because he's vying for Senate, if he failz, he would return to his room Obiano is temporarily occupying.

APGA died with Ojukwu

He is the man holding the money now. If you do not handover the party structures to him, you will end up requesting a blank check and the man might become fade up. The best decision is to hand him the steering and the ego that comes with it.

Sir, you missed it. In any political party, the person with the highest political office under the party becomes the party national leader. In PDP and APC controlled states, the party leaders are the governors and GEJ is PDP national party leader
