how pitiful of a whole SANDF to be "horrified" in the face of adolescents!,it doesnt surprise me,afterall they begged cuban schoolgirls and sweet-eating boys for a cease fire.

SANDF killed hundreds of child soldiers until Seleka raised the white flag.

They are Nigeria's first APC designs. No country comes out with topnotch at first trial.
Remove foreign aid and Nigeria military will become the best in Africa.

Chief, your utterances are nothing but a lie. CIA has professionals carrying doctoral degrees who will never do such a mistake of ranking Gabon's economy above that of Nigeria. It is a simple mathematics of ranking numbers from big to small. However, there is also GDP per capita which Nigeria will obviously rank below Gabon. Make sure you didn't look at the GDP per capita.
nope,i'm sure i checked the GDP,i just cant find the link anymore.

To become the best in africa, the nigerian military will first have to learn to not flee from Boko haram. Basics.

Not even close... what you perceive as military strength in Nigeria is what we call low-class military.

In case you haven't been up to date with military happenings, countries like Algeria and South Africa are far advanced (I didn't include Egypt for the obvious reasons).

Weapons we field are very advanced compared to what you're accustomed to, from land to air via the seas Nigeria cannot and will not compare.

DENEL modified their starstreek missiles by enhancing their thrusting power and hence their operational range
. Those technicians have been working with missiles for many years and I do not understand what is it that you find difficult to believe that they have modified their VSHORAD to operate under the conditions of SA.

Look here, go fool your village farmers with lies, DENEL modified the single launch/multiple launch mounting vehicle structure NOT the range or ceiling. The British sold you only hand held pieces, DENEL modified them to be carried on vehicles, thats all. Then the British winter thermostat that warms it up could be removed for tropical climate use, to avoid overheating because in winter missile systems can freeze, in South Africa you have a warm climate.

The max veiling remains 1km for eternity, and if SANDF landed in Ivory Coast war as you tried to do in 2011 from SAS Drakensberg, ECOWAS will not send Nigeria against you, we will send Togo Republic's Alpha Jets to fly at 2km ceiling and mass R.ape your weak and helpless Air-Defence-Less army grin

Show me proof of the enhanced range by DENEL, the Starstreak missile range has always been 5.5km to 6km since Britain sold it to you

South Africa was a Dutch/British colony until 1990, all you have in terms of technology was given to you by the whites.

For real?

Go read South African history. South Africa was never a Dutch colony, only the Cape and it lasted till 1795... overall South Africa received independence in 1910.

And what's Nigerian about the Igirigi? the chase belongs to some already built Asian or Western car, the armor comes from a South African smelter.

SA ceased to become a colony early in 1900s. No African country can ever claim to have brought or imported technology anywhere other than from western or Asian countries.

Russia fled from Osama's boys in Afghanistan. Almighty France and USA. fled from the NVA in the 60’s. Iraqi army fled from ISIS.

The Nigerian army never fled from boko haram. We've had our successes and our shortcomings on the war against boko haram. In a conventional warfare, the gallant men of our armed forces will crush the terrorists in just hours.

such stiff-shouldered nose-in-the-air arrogance is what will bring you to your heels,if you ever try what you attempted to do by sending a warship to dislodge lawrence gbagbo's illegal government from far away south africa,it is your arrogance and poke-nosing that will topple you from pedestal.

Yes, the Iraqi army fled from Isis. So, look where they are now. Definitely NOT the best in the middle east or anywhere.

So, what were your soldiers doing in Cameroon twice in a short period of time along with civilians to the level of being disarmed. What makes me go down on my knees is your military spokesperson who commented on international news that his troops only went astray. What a F!! hehehehehe!!!

The Dutch and English settlers were much in control of things before 1990. The real South Africans were busy blowing up things and rioting.

APC's aren't designed to be beautiful, but the Igirigi is by no means ugly.

It's an LAV with a Stanag level 2 ballistics Protection, which can be upgraded to level 3, a top speed of 110km/H and a 930KM range.

In it's class, it is amongst the best.
