how old is this track? grin

this is how someone on this forum broke down eminem's verse on renegade on a thread i created asking if eminem is indeed the rap god

look at how many rhyming partners on that single verse? this is why his verses are sweeter to hear & induces eargäsms.
No, I didn't quote the complete verse o. I no wan flood the thread

i am your superior cos you know nothing. yes, your opinion is your right and you are entitled to them, but don't abuse the privilege. don't quote me directly and tell me you are entitled to your opinion. that's just madness!

if i post it & it's confirmed, will you apologise for misyarning? if not, forget it.

juice didn't whoop eminem. they had 6 ties. 6 draws before the judges got tired and gave it to juice. eminem was an unknown detroit white boy that flew to LA to battle. juice was a black boy from LA that had more fans in the audience. yet, he had 6 draws and won based on homefield advantage. if the battle was in detroit, eminem woulda won too.

you disgrace hip-hop heads when you argue like this. rap olympics was 1997, eminem later used that bar in 1999 on SSLP. how could eminem have recycled something he said in 1999 in 1997? grin cheesy grin

you mean the judges knew eminem would use that bar in 1999 as at 97 and that was why he lost a battle? your fake akoka-swag has been exposed once again. if you don't know about a subject matter, keep quiet and learn from your superiors.

so why is eminem the most respected rapper across the racial lines then? how did eminem - a white boy got a front page feature on the source & XXL magazines? it's because they couldn't mess with his talents. for eminem to be where he is in the rap industry, he has worked twice as hard. rap is a black art & eminem has dominated it from 1999 till date.

if eminem steps on stage against any battle rapper, his first sentence alone would body his opponent. he's fierce, he rips, he shreds. the game said so - that when he was firing shots at g-unit & interscope records, he left eminem out of it.....when he was asked if eminem comes after him, what will he do? he said he would run as fast as his legs can take him cos eminem destroys careers.

jay-z's level is the same as eminem at age 15.

I have got no time for you .....not to talk of replying your novel....
I hope Eminem actually carry your matter on his head the way you carry his matter everywhere you go......you should get married to him already.....

you were trying to be cunny...the way you said it
..we all thought he said it In an interview or something....
learn to be straight....
so because he said that in a song means he accepted defeat.... you said it like he said it in an interview or something..... he said his flow was awesome..so? they ain't beefing...so he praised him.....

dude ...jay z beat Eminem on renegade to me..and many people think so too.....

prove that jay z did his recording after Eminem's own..
prove it....and if you manage to prove it..which I know you can't...then jay z has probably recorded his and didn't wanna change his lyrics...that's maturity....

same with big Sean

.when he saw Lamar's control verse...he said he could have changed his verse and diss Lamar..but that would have been childish.......case closed...

i am done having this discussion with you. you are too emotional to have a debate on rap with me. every man & his dog know that guest appearances send their audio tapes in before the main artist does his verse. it's known worldwide. you know nothing about rap - you just yap your mouth.

why would jigga praise other industry niggaz over millions they have sold & single out eminem & praised his lyrical technique? eminem has sold more albums than all the rappers on that list put together. it simply means jay-z conceded defeat on that track

point blank period!!!

its known world wide...lol .... its known only in your village.... its not a tradition or something...stop acting like you know something ...when. you know nothing....
even if Eminem sent his audio ..he could have edited his verse but he didn't.... you say jay z raps like when. Eminem was 15
..if you were to be put in a booth with jay z and you both rap....I swear you wouldn't stand a chance ... ...
his freestyles alone would destroy and annihilate your writtens...
if only jay z starts writing....if he had written his verse for renegade...em wouldn't even stand a chance.....

nah, you should be your own worst critic.
i don't read my own verse and say cool. i always edit & re-edit till the last minute. if i show you my draft, you would shake your head. i fine-tune and fine-tune till i get zapped and nothing else to add.

this is why you need plenty of time. don't let your opponent dictate for you on when to drop. he might have been preparing for months for you so don't fall for such cheap tricks. the difference between one dopė battler from the other dopė battler is preparation.

by helter skelter, i mean the way you present it to NL. the verses are not intact. one line would separate from the other in one place and others would muddle in another.

use italics to emphasise the pun so you don't have to explain parenthesis. if they don't get it then they are the retardś, not you? the discovery of hidden puns sway judgements your way. if you already explain to them, where's the entertainment value?
I do edits too but not that much, I guess thats where thr major difference comes in.

True. Thats why when I started this ish, I stretched alot. Though now, I dont stretch but most times i write a verse that looks really good, I end up editing and adding words/little explanations that takes away the sting cos I feel like the readers might not get it and it defeats the purpose of the verse in the first place.

how do you know jay-z didn't edit his verse? there's nothing anyone can write that can subdue eminem's verse on that track. so it's not a matter of he could have edited his verse.

on what planet can eminem & jigga be seen as equal in lyrical dexterity. only canibus is eminem's equal. immortal tech is close too and few others here and there. jigga that raps about jewels & how many cars he's got is a lyrical heavyweight? cheesy grin

modenine is better than jay-z

In battles, avoid jam-packing too much ideas in one bar to avoid punishing ur voters, some are not that patient. Use less fillers too. I think, after ur next battle u won't need any more explanations coz u have amazingly improved

you have to do it or ask someone to do the editing for you. companies pay other companies to do quality assurance on their products cos it's likely you won't smell your shyte like someone else would. i am my own worst critic so i manage that feat very well.

what you need to do is write everything in your head on one email draft then start fine-tuning. task yourself to write in phrases instead of the long sentences, it's called line compression. reducing 17 words to 7 and still deliver the same message. i will becomes "i'll and so on & forth to keep the flow consistent.

if the readers don't get it then they are the rëtards. you should impose yourself on them, not otherwise. all you need to do is to put italics in the pun you want them to get. they will get it & if they don't, then they shouldn't be here.

the way you write the bars should be explanatory enough to guide them to your pun. when i was writing for sidddogg, the cedis line already pointed itself out because i included pounds & dollars in the set up. if i had put sid is(cedis), it wouldn't have had the effect it had on the readers. so always leave a pointer or a guide in the set-up, the punchline should be easy to follow from that point.

i listen to them but they cannot flip words upside down like eminem would. eminem is the complete package. however you want it, you get it. wordplay, punchline, multis, flow, delivery, shock value, comedy effect, etc.
Re: NL Rap Battles chatroom by kr0ne(m): 3:55pm On Nov 05, 2014
This guy is well known as god music. Even Eminem knows this. He's so fu-kking underrated but the rap industry still knows he's a teacher
Check out the flow!

[Rakim]
You ever witness rapport like this before?
It's cause y'all kiss the floor, say Bismillah
It's the chosen one, with the golden tongue
Flow for the old and young when I'm holdin one
In the front row sitty, we show no pity
where kids get jiggy and girls are so pretty
The Wanderer, back from Casablanca
to stomp all, what next for Ra the Conqueror
So let's go, the best show will explode
No dress codes, they just pose in they best clothes
Girls get exposed when I show my rap expo
Will there be a next episode? I guess so
Those that halved out, wanted to have clout
What they mad about? Must be a cash route
MC's switch they style from they last bout
and I bet soon as they hear this they spaz out

[Chorus x2]

[Rakim]
Wherever Rakim go, it's the God temple
It's simple, my M.O., no problemo
Been all over the map, even know where Hell is at
I did the welcome mat, and then welcome back
My flow is raw, they treat me like Mr. Know-it-All
They want me to show em all my brand new protocol
Excuse-a-moi, I make a move for Ra
You ain't soupin Ra, save the hoop-a-la
Let me find out you rhymed out designed out
Pullin dimes out then climb out, for time out
I'm at the free throw, playin ball, or cee-lo, I keep dough
Reloaded like Carlito, incognito
I be so, low key, women get nosy
I do a show they wanna go see to get to know me
in the front row seat they cosy
thinkin I'm givin them the bo-bo-bee until they O.D.

rakim himself said if eminem was black, he would be as great as mohammed ali. rakim is black and he's not regarded as mohammed ali - that simply shows you from one emcee to another, rakim sees eminem as a god of rap.

That's only because Em is a mainstream rapper. Dre helped blow his @ss all over the globe. U mentioned dexterity, in other words, penmanship, Rakim remains Eminem's father anytime, any day. Listen to his tracks and check out his flows, how words tumble out easily from his mouth, how he graces the mic. I can mention many other rappers too above Eminem in lyricism. They just didn't have the opportunity to get it out there. Some, like KRS One, believes mainstream fans are beat hounds. They don't know true lyricism. Lol permit me to chip in..

None of those mentioned up there breeds better lyricsm than eminem, well except nas and talib kweli

Cannibus the great got his arse handed to him when he dissed shady (can-i-bytch diss track by shady)

But You see, there are many reasons why I'll rate em over them

He can go mainstream, hardcore,sci-fi , battle style and still come up perfect

Which you'd agree with me, none of those up there can reach that feat.

Plus Shady is the king of subliminals, Nas himself said it, imagine kanye west and drake re-writing their verses on forever after listening to em's verse.

End of the day, they still got bodied

Em is the best rapper alive, take it or leave it.
