As a man or a woman...when you hear a man tell a woman to 'stay in her place' what does that mean to you? As a man, have you ever told a woman to 'stay in her place'? As a woman, have you ever had a man tell you to 'stay in your place'? |

Tallesty1: From my experience, a woman being told by a man to "stay in your place" meant that the woman should stay submissive to a man and not challenge his authority as head of household or attempt to men's perception of superiority over women - deeming them as inferior to men. Others may have a different perception though. |
