This is my present situation.

I've been processing admission in 3 schools. 2 admitted me. But the fees are outrageous.

The first is charging $54,000 for tuition and everything.

The other $37,000. I chose this one.

But all I have saved for this is 2million naira.
My first question is.... Can I cope with what I have? Will it take me anywhere or should I just pause the whole thing.

Also. My toefl result is 98. Gre is 295. What are the chances that my test score won't affect my visa interview?

Please I need urgent suggestions.

I have been denied once at the Abuja Office. But not for a student visa.
Contact the school and inquire about a flexible payment plan, most schools normally have this, but u should have a way of getting money for fees planned already and if not it would be best you don't go.

Those schools are darn expensive, u could apply for cheaper schools this fall.

Thanks. I did. I've already been admitted at schools in the US,UK and Australia --US is my priority--and looking set to leave by December/January if visa plans go according to plan. But for future academic and emplyment purposes I want to get that WES bit sorted before I leave Naija.
You're on the right track, so keep it up!

This sounds funny... Which gtbank branch said this to you because i used mine and always working 24/7

You don't need dormicilary account. I can put you through and it will work out unless if your card get wahala..

In addition most gtbank naira master debit card are already activated for online transactions except in some cases that needs bank activation code during online transaction that's where you will need token.

You don't need to open a domiciliary account, your gtb master card can be charged, you can also tell them you want to activate your online banking, you get a token device... Makes it more easy and you can pay yourself on the school's website...

Thanks everyone. The guy didn't even ask about my school or course, didn't even look at my I20, didn't request for standardized tests even though I wrote TOEFL and GRE. I prayed and fasted for a short interview and God made it happen in less than 2mins.
I pray God's favor for everyone going for interview soon.

Hello everybody,
I got an email from WES last week informing me that my document has been placed on hold till they receive a written response from BU.
The issue is that I just contacted BU and I was told they've not received any email.
Is the notification usually sent thru email or via post
WES usually sent verification of transcript via email&post, you will need to be steadfast at this stage&keep going to your school to confirm.

The United States can be very challenging... I don't want to say long stories.
One thing is, for an international student it's not an easy task. From the day you step you feet here you begin to process and make sense of a ton of things.
Prepping for a visa is just one hurdle you have to scale... it's not enough for what hits you when you get here.
You jus gotta prepare everyway you can (emotionally, psychologically, mentally etc). Its an interesting adventure. You have to meet and compete with people from all over the world. All you need to excel is here.

But this has been said so many times.
Good thing you're echoing the same thing

That's why I get angry at lazy students. They have no idea what awaits them. No idea at all..

God speed Bro
