Good morning to u all. Actually, I'm not a student of ibadan. I wil b takin jamb next year and I wanna study medicine bt I wud like to ask a question. I learnt that for admission into unibadan, with 200abv in jamb u r eligible to take part in the post ume and 70 in post ume u will be given medicine. I was also told that dey rili acknowlege waec results dat dey admit students with 5A's and abv in waec, someone else opposed to it sayin that dey add up all ur waec grades to get aggregate and stuffs like dat. I had 1A, 4B's and 3C's in waec wat's my chance of gaining admission to study medicine in unibadan with dat result, abv 200 in jamb and abv 70in pume? Thanks!

lemme tell u ma story probably u wud get something gud from it...had 234 in jamb, put in for medicine tho' everyone thought twas not possible, then I had 79 in putme( wn I saw ma putme result I was really sure dt I wud get medicine cos I had above 70)...the cutoff for medicine came out nd lo twas 80, everyone told me to change to anoda course but I refused expecting dt ma name wud come out wt d 2nd list nd thanks be to God, I was given medicine. If u care to knw I had 6 C4's, 2 B3's nd 1 C6 in agric

To the best of my knowledge, the waec part has been dropped, at least they didn't use it for us.

I would say you're on the right part but try to get 80+ in your post ume exam, so that you can be a little sure of being admitted
