I sustain heavy loss in this Oando thing. I just bailed out. I buy future, with all what is happening I am seriously afraid of OANDO. I am hurriedly moving to FBN with limited guarantee. Oando has been falling before this heavy crack in the market. I hold the believe that the crack just accelerate the fall. I may be wrong but safety of my fund is important.

Those of you saying prayers and shii for your holdings are damn too funny.

Do you guys even stop to consider that some other peep somewhere is also praying to your god too for the same stock to fall so he can enter? And he might just be as fervent or righteous as you?

So which prayer will your god answer please?

Keep praying anyways.

I do not see a reversal in view. You may have a bounce to suck in. Then the bleeding continues. The market now favors the long timers who are barging hunters like feelamong. No need to wait for bottom just stay till the bearish trend is over.

Exactly , that was what happened to me , do not get sucked in , u might incur more losses
Frustration to re-coup ur loses , if u re not careful u keep loosing more

Some people have sold and have cash in hand and their palms are itchy. They will throw the money in the market again and incur more losses . Irrational exuberance of the highest order . There is time to do nothing and just hold cash and the time is now.The falling of prices haven't started yet. there will be more falls . I am not sounding like a prophet of doom but just trying not to be emotional. You may think you would have made a bargain with what you are buying now but lets review these prices in 2 weeks .What has changed between yesterday and today? The Naira is still falling to the point where i think devaluation is the next option . Crude oil prices still falling, politicians hoarding and saving monies for campaigns. Some stocks are still overvalued, Foreign investors are selling off equities and people think the market is rebounding. This market will bottom off like 3 times before the real one. This is phase 2. Invest carefully. If you do you DD and with a little bit of luck, you will become a new millionaire .

Spot on bro, spot on

I'm kinda surprised that I'm not moved to buy unlike before.

I noticed the yields on treasury bills and bonds have been dropping seriously which COULD be that the Foreign investors are buying fixed income securities with proceeds from equities.

Spot on bro.

U be veteran na . it takes a lot of maturity to hold money and do nothing . I do not want to buy at the lowest price . I want to buy at a low stable price. Its not like the market is going to regain all this losses in a month.

I remember during the last 2008 crash, when the prices of Unic, Guinea ins, IEI were coming down, I jumped in when the thing paused a little thinking..I don hammer.... only for the Grand papa and grand mama bear to show and dragged them from 3.5 to 0.50. I managed to sell Unic and Guinea at a very heavy loss but IEI still dey with me till today.

Anyway, if I no learn from my own experience, when I wan take learn?

Well said Sir. This explained it all 1 Corinthians 1:27-29 "But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are:That no flesh should glory in his presence."

Almighty God is only one that knows ALL in ALL!

Hello Guys! I need your help on this. I placed a purchase mandate for FBNH two days ago. I called my broker and was told that mandate has been executed. Today, I told them to email me my CSCS statement, guess what? FBNH was showing 9000 units pending which is not including to my previous units. Meanwhile, my account statement shows that mandate was initiated. Please, any explanation?? Help!

If it shows your FBNH units were pending, it means it had been executed and you will have to wait for T-3 days for it to be cleared and credited to your holdings. Be patient, by this time on Tuesday it will be added to your previous holdings.

brother, I don't forecast, because I just want to forecast, as a graduate, I forecast with what is obtainable, I forecast base on past experience with present condition, I forecast by carrying an effective research, I forecast base on 80% probability not 20%, I do not include bias when drawing conclusion, my advice is base on betterment of all, that is me. Most of my forecast always come to fulfilment.
