thanks nairalanders do they accept statement of results in uniberg ,oslo or stavenger and using a sponsors account for the 2:5 m statement is it safe and can one cope with 2000 USD for the first semester?? is it easy to get a part time job to sustain over there. |
Re: Nigerians In Oslo, Norway by StarFlux: 10:15pm On Nov 01, 2014 |
adenewton1:If you're using secondary school as a base for your application, then that is accepted. If you're using higher education as a base, then you need scanned copies for your original documents. A sponsors account is fine, but the money must be transfered to the school's account anyway. 2000USD will not be enough Part time work is easy enough if you know the language somewhat. |

StarFlux: Can u compare Germany to Norway in terms of how easy it is to get part time jobs |
Re: Nigerians In Oslo, Norway by StarFlux: 1:11pm On Nov 03, 2014 |
Obiwannn:I'd say Norway definitely (easier). The unemployment rate in Germany is 4,9%, while it is 3.4% in Norway. I have never been to Germany so my opinion on the matter probably wouldn't reflect reality, but it's probably tougher as it's a bigger country going through rough times. 1 Like |

@Genfront If you are not financially ready to study abroad why not wait until that aspect is sorted out? Please stop asking for bank statement here because that is totally wrong. Studying abroad is a big project and if you can not afford it then wait till you are financially ready 3 Likes |

Please I need clarification on 'certified documents'. I am applying to Norwegian university of life sciences and I was told.to send all my.documents via courier and I definitely can't send my original waec result. But they said to send my photocopy it needs to be certified That's where my problem comes in how do I certify the photocopy? I have asked around some.say I should take it to my secondary school.for stamp and signature while others are saying take it to the ministry of education I need to know from those already schooling in Norway what exactly I am to do. Thank you very much |

MaxiDj:You can apply for more studies or apply for work. Pretty straight forward, but you need to stay in the country for a set amount of years to obtain permanent residence if that is what you seek. holyboss:2.415M Naira is the exact amount. Senior School Certificate + 1 year university education or West African Examinations Council School Certificate GCE O-level + 1 year university education or West African Examinations Council Higher School Certificate GCE A-level with 3 A-levels toyeebahlim:Go to your school and get it stamped. |

Re: Nigerians In Oslo, Norway by holyboss: 11:48am On Nov 06, 2014 |
toyeebahlim:simple! Go to any High court in your area and tell them you want to certify your documents. Normaly is #100 per page boh some ppl can b so crazy to tell u is #500 per page. Don't fall for it u can always bargain it to #200 or just go to anoda person.. NB: not all High court certify so make sure u go to the best u can find.. 2 Likes |

Re: Nigerians In Oslo, Norway by holyboss: 9:51am On Nov 08, 2014 |
Mickyboiz:Sorry I don't really know much about Norway I answered the certification tin based of my experience with other countries. Boh I guess if you have no reference in d not so good result, u can just giv it a trial (because some schools don't acknowledge transcript request of a student with reference.. Incase of no reference, then I will advice u to just go ahead and apply (risk it with d not so good result) nd leave d school to decide ur faith with them. NB: NL is not the school admission board so don't expect to get admission assurance here.. My one cent |
