mzilakazi:what do you mean no country want to sell arms to us?,russia, belarus, ukraine, china, pakistan and other eastern europe and asian countries are very willing!.how many times have i proved that we can buy as much military hardware as we want?,we can buy the B-2 Bomber jet if america were willing to sell it{which they arent, even other NATO nations dont have it},the SAAF do not even have common aviation fuel, how will you then buy new military hardwares?.the NA has the best infantry in africa,so we dont lack training.you are one to talk, afterall the SANDF ran out of CAR,to be replaced by those pretty,sausage-eating french models that pose as soldiers, even france can outperform you, shame! |

Boko Haram said to seize another town in northern Nigeria Niamey (AFP) - Islamist extremist group Boko Haram has seized control of a Nigerian town near the Niger border, leading soldiers to flee and adding to its expanding reach in the region, an official said Saturday. The insurgents were said to have taken control of Malam Fatori in Nigeria's northeastern Borno state after fighting on Wednesday and Thursday, a senior official in the Niger town of Diffa near Nigeria told AFP on condition of anonymity. The fighting killed dozens and wounded about 30 people in the a commercial hub known for fishing and farming, the Anfani radio station in Diffa reported. "The town of Malam Fatori was taken by Boko Haram after violent fighting with the Nigerian army overnight Wednesday to Thursday," said the official in Diffa, where thousands of refugees from the conflict have fled to. According to the official, 315 Nigerian soldiers fled over the border to Diffa. Thirteen who were wounded were treated in a Diffa hospital, while the others have been repatriated. The official's version of events differed from the one given by a Nigerian senator, who on Thursday spoke of the attack but did not say that the town had been taken. Senator Maina Maaji Lawan said the insurgents met stiff resistance from soldiers from a multi-national task force in the region that includes troops from Nigeria, Chad and Niger. Lawan however also said that soldiers were later forced to flee after being overpowered by the insurgents. He said that 21 civilians were killed. ... http://news.yahoo.com/boko-haram-said-seize-another-town-northern-nigeria-184212041.html |

mzilakazi:you are sweet-tongued{or should i say "sweet-f_ingered"},so because jonathan loaned $1billion,then nigeria is broke?,the loan wasnt even in cash!,it was in military hardware over a span of 7-10 years...study a little economics,a loan is taken so as not to put pressure on national reserves,if not american wont incur such debts..finally,in nigeria, the president is the commander in chief of the armed forces,he has power to deploy and withdraw troops |

About the "ceasefire'. What a mess. It'd be funny if it weren't so sad. http://edition.cnn.com/2014/11/07/opinion/nigeria-truce-tolu/ Was Nigeria's government hoodwinked over Boko Haram 'truce'? ...The government's blindness -- willful or otherwise -- to that fact should alarm us all. But it's not very surprising. At every turn the Nigerian government -- everything from the president's office, to the military, and intelligence services -- has demonstrated that it is as confused as the rest of us. We see this not just in the desperation, at the highest levels, to believe anything regardless of how implausible it sounds, but also in the supremely careless manner in which information regarding the crisis continues to be managed. If the past is anything to go by, I'm certain we haven't seen the last of the "ceasefire" announcements.... |

mzilakazi: Possible is NOT = Done. Nigeria too can possibly buy the Akash SAM with 35km range from India as published in world news last year, get it? Even if intergrated, SAAF has NEVER ordered ANY Mokopa missile, because of lack of funds and the fact I posted, that your then air force chief said the 10km long range is useless because the Rooivalk will not see the target DENEL engineers are just dumbo domingoes to design a missile that is useless, named Mokopa ATGM. SAAF has NO SINGLE Mokopa missile, Rooivalk is a gun carrier Nigeria has T-72 tanks stored in Ukraine http://news.rin.ru/eng/news/62731/ .

mzilakazi:^yes,a self sufficient man can decide to take a loan if he feels he doesnt want to burden his own reserves, nigeria is a diverse and complex society,it runs on money, reserves need to be always high in case of emergencies and surplus spendings e.g during the ebola saga,do you know how much billions of naira was spent on curbing ebola,we still sent aids, and drugs worth millions of dollars to liberia, seirra leone, and guinea!,can a broke country do that?,a loan dosent signify lack of funds, america has the highest amount of debts in the world, yet they arent even near broke.taking a loan is better than going on all fours, begging BRIC for a few change, isnt it? |

DieVluit: Jut shows how dull you are, your above story heavily contradicts itself. See the lines you bolded, one says Nigerian soldiers flee from Boko Haram then goes again to say the soldiers who fled are multi-national troops from 3 countries armies...Nigeria, Chad and Niger Republic all combined. So which one do we believe from your fake story ? NONE . |

agaugust: You don't have a lot and by the way tanks cannot make our bodies to shrink. SADF sank Russian ship fully loaded with weapons which were meant to be transported to Angola. It is not safe to put away weapons to another country since the ocean is too deep to consume all of them. |
