@moneybag and helloT, You guys should not rush things as I see you do not know what you are getting yourself into yet, 2500euros for a language course and the Uni unresponsive mail reply should indicate that something is not really right(although its not all wrong).
There are many Uni's in Portugal that their studies are in english and they reply their mail within 24hours.. I have been through this route before so pls calm down and apply to somewhere communication is between Yourself and the institution.No third party either paid or free coz thats the bedrock of easing the tensions of any mistake during program application, visa/permit application, and school enrollment.
Eventhough some Portugese Uni's are jacking up their fees, so also some raise fees and communicating with them is fluid. Many will want you believe that all Uni's in Portugal will do that; the answer is not all and not most but some only. So dont be alarmed
Do the search my people, its not rocket science to see requirement and make enquiries on things you are not clear of(not something already stated on their website)
Bottomline is go to Uni that you have communication with so you do not burn your money on fees you wont even be able to explain how they came about.

Well guys...I have filled the form and returned it back to them so hoping for new admission letter..its like a pre-degree combined with language course...its a good motive only their school fees is a bit high compare to other schools.

Some universities in Portugal might offer less or reasonable tuition than UTAD, please do your research on internet. Ask Google! Everyone want the OP to suggest school for him/her. Why not be first class version of yourself than been second version of someone else. I have post this earlier, please use your internet wisely.

Let assume you get school with tuition of €1000 (that is N220,000 depend on FX), what of flight, accommodation, and other basic needs? I do hope you can jack up your financial stability lil bit. I know of a school that does M.Sc in Portuguese Translation with reasonable and affordable tuition but the programme is for september intake only and is late now to apply. If you can wait till next year March when another application will start for september 2015 intake, then I can be of help.

Thanks for your response its was really great...but as for the programme u are taking about will be taught in English cos i dnt understand portugues

And secondly i have an agent who is willing to help process my visa bt i suspect all he can do is jst a tourist visa (3months) and based on my research according to the schengen immigration rule i can only stay max of 90days out of 180 days i will be given and will need to exit and wait till anoda 90days outside the schengen zone before i can reapply but my major plan is to av a permanent stay to work over there and likewise i dont wont to be an illegal immigrant
Please help me on wat to do cos dats why am making my own personal research behind the guy to knw wats best for me as regard getting a permanent stay .

Lol, what is your business with Joseph? you people with complain sha, I know many of you are not serious as theroyalprince said, you are just after to beautify your house with admission letters and many of you just want to sit down for everything to be done for you without contributing a single thing.....you don't send any emails and you complain of people that send... ....I know about those schools, if you don't bombard them with emails, they won't reply, I have dealt with many of them before..... You have to let them know what you want and keep on sending them emails till they reply......and mr sabi, pls paste the emails I sent so that people can judge about spellings, I only know about one email, my battery about to drained and I typed fast that what was caused little error...if you rely too much on auto check, what would you do when you sit with pen and paper? What will auto check for you then? And 2500 euro could be expensive for some people, everybody are not equal.

BTW,i left Nigeria few weeks ago. my school fees right now is like 15kUSD (plus accommodation)
now that i know that UTAD is 2500Euro, na to do Jet-li for my present school ooo since i don get extension of stay here till 2018, i can easily come back during vacation (with my Portuguese gf of course na joke ooo) .
i was waiting for next year august to transfer to the US (cos it is really easy esp with my school) but i never pay school fees finish. i never even pay half. wait i never even pay half of half and i dey attend lectures, dey do quiz and test and assignments . i no wan make things challenging for my sponsor.
but Portugal go be nice place to be nah. Europe make brain jare.

Bro, everything is not cleared about UTAD, they still haven't issued the admission letter for year promised since last week and they are mute to emails.

Bro...please help us tell UTAD to be responding to emails...its very alarming the way the ignore emails...what if it was an emergency email or embassy emails trying to verify details...it could jeopardize visa processing...kindly tell them to respond to be emails , I want to start my visa processing and I need answers to some questions and want to know their emails response has increase before going further.....

No, you don't need to pay before applying for visa. In Portugal, you can pay your tuition in 10 instalments.
