Surely Seun can control the Mention stuff, I don't know how they designed the algorithm, but if he can ensure someone only gets a mention when one's post his quoted without the person's name removed from the submitted post (i.e submitted post retains header like this: [quote author=spade post=27860529]), he should also introduce a hashtag method of getting people mentioned, like if there is no #spade in a post, spade doesn't get a mention, except spade was quoted as described above.
