The Abeokuta "hospital" is not a modern medical centre from my own understanding. Even the name is off, no offence meant. I already told OP that I'm not in support. His family is probably on his neck to take him there.

As for the guy that provided us with a car and driver, unfortunately he couldn't reach his driver.

As for LUTH, OP doesn't want to go there.

As for UCH, someone told me there is a probability the doctors would go on strike next week.

Do LFTs again, CEA & Ca 19 9, CBC & Diff, albumin test..
get a ""AbdominoPelvic CT scan"". dey cant say dey cant see anytin on this,..
and if d result comes up we will know if Nigerian Hosp can manage it or shud proceedure to push him to india.. we need to optimize & Resucitatate him first ABC..
the doctor on this forum can get a good hx from him to arive at DDx.. my 2cent..

True that, inasmuch as a lot of people here might not like the Abeokuta idea, it is solely his call to make and not ours.

just incase, as inline with infirmed consent.. for the tradomedical part, dey is almost 100% chance u will waste ur time there n further super-complicate the issues.. av seen alot of this instance.. d best they will do is introduce infection in dat protein rich anaerobic space in an attempt to drain aseptically.. ur life is at stake here bro, u dont need to fast track it..

There are other good,not too expensive hospitals in Lagos he could go to eg : Eko hospital, Premier hospital, lagoon etc.

ppl shud learn to keep pride aside u health is at stake here.. most likely other hoso will refer him back there.. after draining fund off him.

There are loads of bad reviews about LUTH but if the hospital knows that the eyes of the nation are on them while the man is there they might just behave themselves.

they r medical case n they are surgical cases.. a surgeon wont operate wit clear images n pt optimization.. he shud b filtered based on His CT scan.. n findings..

Please and please, God has sent the help you need most to you via the good people of this forum and it's now left for you to act fast as regards where you want to be receiving your treatment, please do as fast as possible to avoid more damage to your body system. If i'm to say, i'll still recommend that LUTH, and if necessary, a referral would be made from there, which will even make it easier for you at wherever you would be reffered to instead of going somewhere alone and the whole procedure will have to be started from the very beginning.
Act fast now before people start losing interest in your case, especially if it seems you're indecisive.
I'm sure sending my widow's mite probably tomorrow but i'll be much happier to do more if and when you start receiving treatment in a reputable hospital.

Guys get this thing on tv in naija. U will be surprised one doctor will come out dat can pull strings in the health sector.

The moment I hear that the so-called hospital is nothing to write home about, he has to leave IMMEDIATELY. Told his mum too.
