It's unreasonable to expect every single cry for help thread to graze the FP. These cases if and when alerted usually go through rigorous verification process so as to protect funds donated as well as ensure donations are used for the intended purpose.
Hindsight is very easy to stress but please let's apply some sort of reason to the case at hand

I can still travel far if am comfort wit were am sitting down....for d abeoukuta hospital if the man see me and can not handle it my uncle said he will not admit me...and for LUTH..luth is not as before anymore am in ward 2a I swear some people are there morethan 2 years still yet they are not ok and dis people are spending money...the way treat people at luth is not wat 2 write home...and for some guys that said maybe I don't want 2 used d money NL send 2 me..my uncle don't no NL send me money only my brother my dad and mom no about it..my uncle said the man we charge me up 2 400k if he can do it...and if he can't do it I will from there go 2 ibadan teaching hospital....PLS GUYS DON'T GIVE UP ON ME....caracta thank for understanding

Decompensated CLD aka decompensated Cirrhosis of the liver and possibility a cancer which is often the long term outcome of cirrhosis
If you ever sat in a medicine class you should know what that means and that the only help available at this time is a liver transplant

when I saw the lab result I emailed a doc in the states and they also indicated a liver transplant. unless LUTHs prognosis is defective but if it isnt then his solution is a liver transplant this was why I started shouting take him to india. He who has ears let him hear. ignorance is making them want to run to abeokuta just by hearsay. The causes for fluid retention in the abdomen and legs are pretty easy to narrow down and it always has a link to the liver.

@Artistree, so the family is bothered about ordinary embarrassment as against a human life at stake? SMH. I hope OP has his atm card/pin/account access.Some people have no conscience once money is involved.

There are other good,not too expensive hospitals in Lagos he could go to eg : Eko hospital, Premier hospital, lagoon etc.

Kindly ask her if they have a Gastroenterologist Unit in Luth and find out the cost of abdo ultrasound, LFT, CBC, basic metabolic profile, etc. And if needed, is LUTH equipped to handle a liver biopsy?

NL's should take this guy out of there, I sense the family are trying to play games, the money is already in the account, what's stopping them from taking him to luth, I sense something, pls, let's radically force them to respond and take the guy to the hospital so that they won't play games with his life.

I told him that too! The issue then was embarrassing cos of lack of funds. Now, there is little to go around with, sentiments should be dropped but he insisted that from the look of things, his mother will NEVER go back with him to LUTH. He actually gave me express permission to post this so the house can know the odds against him presently. The dude can't move so he's at the mercy of people to do the needful.
