You have no aviation fuel
No tents for troops in the DRC
No evidence of data links
No mokopa

Et al

You have no aviation fuel - 18 000 hours flown, 50 hours per day, every day
No tents for troops in the DRC - for a breif period of time, and it was a supply issue
No evidence of data links - multiple sources detailing LinkZA have been posted
No mokopa - We can have them in service in days, if we need them

I have provided evidence of Nigerian Military Data links. You haven't.

Your defence minister specifically said your troops lack tents in the DRC. I've only been quoting her.

Multiple sources have been provided to show that you lack aviation fuel. The last article was dated 10 October 2014.

Nothing old.

Continue laughing in algeria, it hasn't bought you any mokopa missiles, neither have any magically appeared.

Janes defence still reports your defence force as been too broke to afford them.

Our minister said tents were lacking due to supply issues - last year
We just posted a source that says we flew 18 000 hours, with 22 000 hours budgeted - this means we have a fuel surplus

Dude, what is wrong with you?

Denel’s Mokopa PGM ready for market

"This is in line with comments made by SAAF chief Lieutenant General Carlo Gagiano on that subject, he saw only limited short-term opportunity for Mokopa with the land services. “Most armies won't use it optimally, he noted. Land-to-land targeting at 5.5km, as with Ingwe, is already a very long range for target acquisition. You cant's see much further in the dust and glare of the battlefield. With Mokopa you go over-the-horison and then your communications and command-and-control has to be very advanced. Many armies are not yet confident enough to use such a weapon. The Ingwe is still very much on the sweet spot for most applications,” he said. "

Nigerian Cobras too have protection against land mines.

Don't compare your ancient 1980s outdated Ratel with our year 2008 Cobra.

Your Ratel cannot even swim across a small river, SANDF is outdated and lacks all terrain armoured vehicles grin grin

Cobra is a light recon vehical... last time it saw service it got wrecked.

Ratel can take bigger explosions than the Cobra.

That's no ordinary rocket, it is most likely a guided missile, it flew horizontally meaning it's controlled to a landing point.

If it is vertical (then returns down by parachute to same launch pad) or parabolic, I will say it could easily be unguided rocket.

Ratel is mine protected

Landmine protection
The Ratel's design also gives far more
consideration to protection against land mines
than most armoured vehicles of its era,
reflecting SADF experience and priorities. Like
the Casspir and Buffel vehicles, the bottom of
the hull is angled and reinforced so as to
deflect mine blasts out to the sides. The
Ratel's wheels, if damaged, are also much
easier to repair or replace than tracks. The
vehicle also has multiple doors and hatches;
the two main doors are located in the vehicle's
sides, but a small rear door and roof hatches
allow the crew to exit the vehicle from many
directions at once, or to more easily dismount
under cover during an ambush.

http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ratel_IFV

Cobra does not have a v-hull which can stand radiation and any mine will blow it open and kill the occupants.

In fact he CONFIRMED everything.
He also said:

I don't need to explain to you what his point is there.
Re: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by ActivateKruger: 8:36am On Nov 10, 2014
.....and the General doesn't say it's useless for the SANDF. He clearly states that for most armies i.e. Nigeria and other similar forces the Makopa is very advanced for them, instead they would go for the Ingwe missile (Which is also South African)... so it' still a win situation for Denel.

Meanwhile this confirms that the Makopa can kill all Nigeria's tanks at 10kms away while Naija watches.

NOT RAINING BUT POURING FOR NIGERIAN ARMY......COWARDS ARE TO RELEASE A STATEMENT THAT THE TROOPS CONDUCTED A TACTICAL RETREAT LIKE IN CAMEROON RECENTLY...AHAHHAHAHHAHAH @AUGUSTUS THE USELESS SPIN DOCTOR WHAT IS COMMENT??

The Nigerian military has elected to keep silent on news reports at the weekend that the Islamist extremist group Boko Haram seized control of Malam Fatori, a Borno town near the Nigerien border, leading soldiers to flee into the country.

The insurgents were said to have taken control of Malam Fatori after fighting on Wednesday and Thursday, a senior official in the Niger town of Diffa near Nigeria told AFP on the condition of anonymity.

The fighting killed dozens and wounded about 30 people in the commercial hub known for fishing and farming, the Anfani radio station in Diffa reported.

“The town of Malam Fatori was taken by Boko Haram after violent fighting with the Nigerian army overnight Wednesday to Thursday,” said the official in Diffa, where thousands of refugees from the conflict have fled to.

According to the official, 315 Nigerian soldiers fled over the border to Diffa. Thirteen who were wounded were treated in a Diffa hospital, while the others have been repatriated.

This one is dedicated to the "beautiful" Henry, who denied that towns have been taken by Boko Haram.

New video shows scenes inside 'Boko Haram-controlled town'

http://news.yahoo.com/video-shows-scenes-inside-boko-haram-controlled-town-155455007.html

Kano (Nigeria) (AFP) - A new Boko Haram video obtained by AFP on Sunday shows militants on an armoured vehicle parading down a road in an unidentified town they apparently control and the group's leader Abubakar Shekau preaching to locals.

It was not possible to tell whether the footage was staged for propaganda purposes, especially scenes of residents cheering Islamist fighters.

The message appeared to be aimed at reinforcing Shekau’s claim that he has created a caliphate within Nigeria.

In the 44-minute video, Boko Haram voices support for other so-called caliphates, including the one proclaimed in Iraq and Syria by the Islamic State (IS) group.

Shekau, who is pictured in closeup shots with rare clarity, again dismisses government claims about ceasefire talks.

- 'Living in a caliphate' -

The video, which was delivered through the same channels as past messages, shows armed men lined along a well-paved road, with three pick-up trucks bristling with heavy weapons also visible.

Black, crested flags associated with the Islamist group are also shown.

Later, an armoured vehicle rolls down the road lined with both fighters and individuals who appear to be residents of the town.

Boko Haram has released a series of videos showing similar military hardware, equipment it says was stolen from the Nigerian military. Such claims have been impossible to verify.

No women or girls are seen on the street or anywhere else in the footage.

A screengrab taken on November 9, 2014 from a new Boko Haram video released by the Nigerian Islamist …

Most of the message is taken up by a sermon from Shekau, delivered indoors but apparently played on a speaker to locals assembled outside.

"We have indeed established an Islamic caliphate," he said, restating a claim he first made in August.

The images of the sermon include unusually clear closeups of the Nigerian militant leader.

- 'Support for Islamic brethren' -

Shekau has previously expressed solidarity with other jihadi groups and leaders.

In the latest video, he seemed to associate territory under his control with a wider, global caliphate, but did not submit to the authority of any other jihadi leader.

“To everyone living in Islamic Caliphate, we convey our greetings,” he said, specifically mentioning “brethren” in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Azerbaijan, Shishan (an Islamist term for Chechnya), Yemen, Somalia and “the Caliphate in Iraq and Syria.”

A graphic shown later includes a picture the IS group's leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi as well as a portion of the message his group issued on July 1 proclaiming a caliphate in Iraq and Syria.

Iraq on Sunday was investigating whether Baghdadi was killed in air strikes by US-led coalition warplanes.

- 'There is no truce' -

Nigeria maintains it is still negotiating with Boko Haram envoys in neighbouring Chad and that a disputed October 17 ceasefire declaration remains viable.

Violence has however continued and the Islamists are believed to control more than two dozen towns and villages in the northeast.

"There is no truce between me and Nigerian tyrants," Shekau said, dismissing the credibility of Danladi Amhadu, the purported rebel negotiator.

"This person Danladi... if he thinks he can, let him show his face. By Allah, we will kill him," the Islamist leader said.

This was done on Nigerian territory, so it proves that he had all the time in the world to record the video and do whatever it is that he wanted to do. How is this possible? How is it possible that a group that is "being hunted" can set up a full production on location in Nigeria?

It is possible because there was no one to stop them. This confirms EVERYTHING.

Let's start here - what proof do you have that this is NOT Nigerian territory? You have no grounds for denying what I say.

And then on a balance of probabilities, what is the likelihood that this is Nigeria, vs Cameroon, Chad, Niger etc? How on earth could BH organise residents of towns in these countries without their media and governments reporting on it? Either during or after the recording. Impossible. That would have been a SIGNIFICANT development in the whole thing.

This is Nigeria.

Even if this were to have been staged (the actual shouting of support by residents), fact is they were able to round them up and set up a full production, which probably took longer that the final 44 minutes that's the duration of the video.
