If we look at the insecurity in the north critically,northerners carries large chunk of the blame.I have never heard any of the elders who spoke against bokoharam killings.I have not also hear them congratulate the nigerian soldiers for killing bokoharam.But when they hear that suspected bokoharam members are kill by soldiers they will say it is extrajudicial killings.Why is it not extrajudicial killings against bh who slit innocent people's throat?Imagine the chief of defence staff,alex badeh,who hails from adamawa state, sent helicopter to rescue only his family members from mubi on hearing that bh has advance his family home in adamawa state.See how callous a man who is paid to protect lives and property could be.Since,col,aliyu gusai,and alex badeh was appointed minister of defence and chief of defence respectively,terrorism have escalated in the north.

And if the same thing happens in Kano, would a Christian feel comfy with a Muslim state police?

Nigeria is not ready for State Police. Because we are an oil dependent society. We have to make our leaders work for us to become an industrial society so that we can have the GDP needed to fund and equip a state Police....and a large number of people in employment so that they won't have time for My religion is better than yours games.

Many Northern leaders have spoken out against Boko Haram, and many Muslim religious leaders have been killed by Boko Haram (two of them in Mubi just now) for preaching against Boko.

I wonder what nigeria will look like in 2019 if jona is re-elected........ When 5 americans are killed their president will visit them and even weep with a not to happen again speech...... But 9ja within the last 3month local governments such as gwoza,madagali,kwanduga,damboa,michika,and mubi which is among one of the biggest commercian centre in the north have been overtaken by boko hharam and even renaming them.... More than 30,000 helpless civilians have been killed and GEJ did not say anything about it.......... Instead na stadium he go dey launch!!!!! More than 3000 soldiers have been killed and the government did not even say anything to show that they did not die in vain.... And all this things happen within 3months!!!!! I did say this because somebody told I am saying this because am also a victim and a refugee in my own country!!!!

I know one day books would be written on how a ragtag inexperienced army gave the most populous Black nation on earth a run for its money. Most Northern states have state police already, they are called Sharia enforcers.
