Thank GOD for his faithfulness and mercy

And at last, I see a second Nigerian who will soon graduate from NM. You will certainly enjoy your money there.

Cheers!

Hello my Oga walspring, Please help your brother.

I have admission in Findlay Ohio,
I have not traveled out before and I don't have friends or siblings or relative in the US that I can rely on. What should I do? Is the risk of still going to US worth it? What if the school ask me to pay fees before writing exam. I'm really in a fix now I don't know what to do. How do Nigerians with in my kind of situation survive in US? If I can get a PM it would be most welcomed.

Walspring please reply me by PM.

Other gurus in the house input(s) will be well appreciated too.

Thanks in earnest.

I didn't see your pm unless you sent me pm with another moniker because i just replied those who sent me pm since last week

Well you will need to pay and register for classes as soon as you get to obamaland

I hope your parent can sponsor you if at all you don't have relatives and friends in obamaland? because most Nigerians there register for classes as soon as school resume

kindly send your pm again

Why don't you just tell the person to search the Internet!!!
Are you going to write gre for this person?
Will you do toefl for this person?
Will you help with processing admission?
Will you help in the gruelling financial aid search.

You may think you're helping but you're not.
Better allow the person that start thinking for himself.
The earlier the better

My friends here, help me tackle this issue..My cousin's friend who has been denied thrice at the canadian embassy wants to apply for a USA study visa. He has an HND accounting with upper credit(3.05cgpa) and OND financial Studies(2.85cgpa)lower credit. Finished in 2002 and NYSC finished in 2003..37yrs now with two kids..8 and 4yrs.

Needs to go for paper based Master Degree in Business Mgt, financial Analysis, Forensic Accounting\Auditing, International Business Mgt.

He's willing to write all standardised tests, which he has already registered for..My question with his age does he have a chance in front of the visa officer?

I hope to hear candid replies from people here.

Hello guys! I'm new on this thread and i would like if you guys can help me out on this issue...
My uncle (us citizen) is inviting my mum and I to his birthday party in atlanta nxt yr... I've filled the DS-160 form for my mum and mine also, but i'm having difficulties scheduling appointment because the system displays an error message each time i tried adding my informations as dependent on my mum's profile (tho i'm above 18) the message was "unable to add information cox some or all information added belong to another applicant" embarassed

2) i also tried booking the appointment separately but still yet i cant proceed with my information because anoda error still displays saying "
the information i provided belongs to another profile with another email"

Tho.. I av bin denied visa last yr october because an agent did it for me, but now i'm applying by my self without the help of any agent. I guess its the profile the agent created for me last year was causing the problem? But there must be a way to resolve this issue which i'll need you guys to help me with.

I've also sent series of mail to the us service desk, but no reply.

Pls help me out guys....

There is no statistic that proves that there is any universities with high GA rate. GA depends on yearly exhaustible quota assigned to each department.

That means in the same school, department A might give GA to 10/10 students while department B gives only 2/10.

FAFSA on the other hand is for citizens and eligible resident of U.S.

If you're not one, then forget about it.

Hey, don't act as if it's outrageous. You think I'm crazy?

You ought to have asked why before condemning him.

Please stay away from my post if you can't help him out.

I feel highly honored when a father calls and asks me to recommend some schools for his son and you tried to talk about standardized tests and visa. He laughed and said don't worry about that. You should know what that means.

In every embassy, some people still know how to get things done.

Information is power.

Nairaland is not where to search for schools. Google is still the best way.

Anything search that exempts standardized test am not interested. MSc for that matter, just GRE and TOEFL is an issue?
