Most assessment/ opinions are based on southern Nigeria, To most Northern Nigerian Ghana are not just ally but family because most northerners will feel more at home in Kumasi or Accra than said Imo or Enugu.

1)To Nigeria as country, it best ally are south Africa, kenya and Ghana due to huge trade arrangement between Nigeria government and Government of those country

2) Eastern Nigeria : South Cameroon and Gabon while Ghana is their nemesis because although they have good collaboration due Nollywood and music both they are always fighting online or Ghanian Government targeting Igbo community in Ghana (example the recent minimum capital requirement)

4) Northern Nigeria (Niger, Chad, Northern Cameroon, Ghana and Sudan)

A few years ago, in Jamaica, people began saying, Nollywood films had thought them many things about Africa, some that used to deny being African started saying that they were African, from Nigeria, because the actors and actress were good looking (petty i know but illustrative) now though go to youtube and Ghana has ruined everything by attaching their ugly-selves to Nigeria. First of all you can't compare Ghanaian actress to nigerian actress. Ghanaian actors kill nigerian actors in both beauty, sexy and command of the English language. Even your own people would agree. Most people outside west Africa can't understand the nigerian accent.
