2011 elections- Imo state- Incumbent Ikedi Ohakim lost despite his last ditch efforts to usurp votes from various PUs after Okorocha was leading by a very wide margin. He still lost. Imo Politics has always been different.
2011- Alao Akala- Oyo state

In any free & fair election, the power of incumbency is always minimal.


Remember that the 2011 elections was declared one of the freest and fairest even by the International observers
