booqee:All those accusing Jonathan about Boko haram insurgency are just trying to give the dog a bad name,if the northern elites are serious about ending boko haram insurgency the will do that,i don't want to believe boko haram are ghost, they are people well known by the northern elders,we all know it's an islamic jihadist movement(saying this without apology), i believ when boko haram started springing up in 2009 Jonathan was not the president then, even when Mohammed Yusuf the then boko haram leader was killed,Jonathan was not responsible for his death,so please let leave Jonathan out of this and let Babangida and his Islamist Apologist Buhari call their boys to order and let's see if peace will not return to this country. 2 Likes |

berem:We know that APC have nothing to offer igbos in that regard so why will you support a party that does not regard you politically?APC party themselves may not have hope on igbo vote starting from early stage but they thought rochas can use his sweet lying tongue to draw millions of igbo vote for them but he managed to pull few crowds which is not enough for APC, this is why they decide to dump rochas presidential ambition and gave all their support to gambari which is their normal way they operate.Nigeria politics is so predictable that even a blind man can see through it. Gambaris and their slaves will try their best in this election but with democracy they have little freedom from gambaris so they will vote for GEJ at the last minute remember that 3 Likes |

I have passed the level of ''he is from our tribe lets vote him in or he is not our tribe lets go against him''. Is Rochas aspiring to be Igbo president or Nigerian president? If it is the former he is not competing with Goodluck and if it is the latter he should eschew tribal sentiments. This is Nigeria of 2014 and not 1960s. |

APC LIFE. i litle wonder why all apc members wants to be president. They're all power hungry politicians with the same ambissions. They didnt get it frm their former parties so when the first frustrated losers form apc others join. Now is the time and anyone that can get what he wants from apc will make a u turn. So i see 2015 as the end of apc when they fail to win. As for my brother Rochas, even if he wins apc ticket which i doubt he will, he'll still drop his ambission like Ogbonaya Onu did in 1999. |

[quote author=talktimi post=27903019]By Francis Igata ENUGU — Imo State Governor, Chief Rochas Okorocha, yesterday, declared his intention to run for the 2015 presidential election on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC. In an emphatic statement, the Governor said, “I will be Nigeria’s President in 2015.” He made the declaration at a rally organized by the Enugu State chapter of the APC at the Igbozurume Hall, in Emene, Enugu State. The governor said Jonathan was not an Igbo man and that the PDP-led government had consistently marginalized the people of the South-East. According to him: “Jonathan is not from the South-East, the Vice President is not from here, the Senate President, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, the Chief Justice of Nigeria, CJN, the Inspector General of Police, IGP, and the security chiefs, none of them is from the South-East. Igbo people have no place in Nigeria. How can we say that PDP belongs to Ndigbo? “Niger Bridge is 419, Enugu/Onitsha and Port-Hacourt Express way are all evidences of their hatred for Ndigbo; they don’t remember the poor, all our leaders in PDP are only interested in their pockets, they don’t care about our children’s education. “We are angry and we said we have to come out; in Imo State, poor people are happy now, they study from primary to university without paying penny; our God party is bigger than their God, if what they are doing to the poor people here is good, let them continue but if it is bad, God will uproot them. In 2015, I will be the president of Nigeria, I have gone to Kaduna, I have gone to Lagos, I am in Enugu today, they are already afraid; they are now calling for dialogue. If they are discussing those contesting for presidency on the platform of APC, Owelle will be the first, Buhari and then Kwakwanso; they said it was zoned to the North, I told our party, when did the meeting take place? I also met with my brother Ngige and we zoned it to Ndigbo. “APC is an emergency party for new Nigeria, if PDP is doing well, I would not have joined APC, when God wants to do something, he does it from anywhere, it doesn’t matter whether Nwobodo, Ken, Nwodo, Ekweremadu are with us or not. “I heard that some of them are boasting of money, but tell them that Rochas has come; any day you hear that PDP brought money with pick-up, tell me so that I will bring money with trailer. All these PDP leaders in South-East, if you put their money together, it is not equal to half of my money.” http://www.vanguardngr.com/2014/11/rochas-declares-presidency/[/quote hmmm rochas fear EFCC o...... na only you waka come o |

Rochas, ur on ur own, the igbos are not agitating for presidency for now. Let GEJ finish his tenure n the igbos will massively support him cos his is our own. How far imo with substandard road networks that are failing rt now, under hu's administration? GEJ MUST FINISH HIS TENURE & THE IGBOS ARE SOLIDLY BEHIND HIM. |

All I can sense from this man (Rochas) rating is that APC want to use him siplit membership of PDP in the SE, making igbos to think of supporting their own person. I am sorry to disappoint you it will never work. WTF: what a hell is APC doing in my beloved State Enugu? haaaaa I laughing in pidgin. Apc can't even win a single ward in Enugu. Enugu is 200% PDP leaves us alone we are ok with pdp. Now let me see those APC E-warrios what they will do having igbo man as their presidential flag bearer, the game has changed, you guyz said Rochas is the best Governor in the SE, let's see how you support him now. As a confirm Nwafor 042 GEJ till 2019 & beyond. |

harrwix: Rochas did not smoke anything; he rather told Nigerians the hard truth: rotation of the presidency among the six geo-political zones sustains Nigeria's integrity. Therefore, no body, no political organisation, must arrange the rotation thing in such a manner that the Igbo/southeast remains excluded since 1967. In any worthy scheme by any political party to oust Jonathan from office by 2015, the party ought to present an Igbo as its presidential candidate. That is the hard truth. Rochas said he met with Ngige and zoned APC presidential ticket to the southeast, APC must live with that plain talk by Rochas. 1 Like |

booqee: my sister, the least worse choice to me is BOOHHAAARRRIIII!!! This is democracy, there are alot of checks and balances, he would NEVER think of islamizing this country.... Thats why i want amechi to be his running mate, then the senate president to be a pure igbo man, and the speaker to be a yoruba man, so that there would be a balance, no one would talk of islamization then.... Well, its all good shaa |

Rochas Okorocha will have no problem purchasing APC Presidential form. Why would he? He's a wealthy man. But would he be voted as the sole Presidential candidate of APC without any problem? Certainly not. The North are bend on making sure a northerner emerge as the sole candidate to challenge GEJ. Okorocha has nothing in APC. His Chances would have been more realistic if he was still in APGA. 1 Like |

scantee: ---and most of Igbo are most likely to tow your line. Let APC give an Igbo its presidential ticket and watch APC claim Aso Rock in 2015 elections. Igbo make up a very huge chunk of Nigeria's population. Any political party planning to make Igbo continue to play subservient roles in Nigeria is planning for failure of both the party and Nigeria. 2 Likes |

Owelle is not a man that needs introduction in Nigeria politics. The Rochas I know is a good man. Come 2015, when elected president, it will serve as symbol of unity and advancement of Nigeria democracy. The Rochas I know is not tribalistic, he has proven to be man that is not interested in the language you speak but sees all Nigerians with a sense of brotherhood. This is why his haters call him "Mallam Okorocha." In Rochas, I see a man who is ready to serve. Rochas sees beyond party affiliation and interest. In PDP he made his mark, in APC he has chosen not to join the band wagon of recycled politicians. Owelle is the answer! 2 Likes |
