Are you on mtn or zain because I found it so hard to believe that you were able to install all of the windows updates. I asked you to get into safe mode, you didn't. Check your program list, it seems you have office 2010 installed, if so please remove it. If you get into safe mode try installing office 2013 again. Are you 100% sure that the office 2013 is compatible with your machine. For example, 32 bit cd\dvd on 32 bit machine
I use MTN modem and the updates where quite fast. The office package indicated that my OS version and type (win 7,64bit) was supported. But u know, these things are pirated copies. But I do know they work for most people. Pls how do I perform safe-mode installation? Thanks for ur prompt response and concern...

Good day guys, pls I'm experiencing a number of problems on my system and I don't know what to do.
1. My Bluetooth doesn't work, I've tried driving it all to no avail.
2. My DVD ROM stopped working abruptly, though the system still sees it but I noticed in my device manager that theres a problem with a certain VSO driver, could it be the cause and how do I fix it?
3. How do I repair/recover the recovery partition for a dell inspiron 3521 ( no disc came with it and I've never had to format it.

please skydancer, I am having problem with my HP Compaq window 7 pc, The screen cannot be brightened,it looks so deem, if I try to adjust the screen brighteness it w'nt even move, pls how can I make my screen to be bright.thanks.

Click start and search for battery from the start search menu. You are looking for hp battery test or check. Click on it and follow everything it says. I reckon that the battery is
Causing the problem. Also have you tried increasing brightness by right clicking on the battery icon on your desktop. Are the keyboard keys working?

I don't know if you ar around me. I can give u my Set up 9.6GB including the Patch Update. What's Ur location?

I'd advise that any previous office should be remove before installing another office. Ok safe mode restart the machine and keep pressing f8 until you see advanced boot options and select safe mode. All icons becomes big, that's normal. Remove any office through add and remove programs in control panel, then try installing the disk. Given your media is a pirated copy, it would be difficult to pinpoint to the cause of the error messages.

Turn on or restart your computer.

Hold down/Tap the F8 key before the Windows logo appears. If the computer makes a complaining noise, tap the F8 key repeatedly instead of holding it down.


If a Windows logo or “Windows starting” appears, wait until Windows loads. Then restart the computer and try pressing F8 again.



Once you are successful, a menu will appear with a number of boot options. Use an arrow key to navigate to “Safe Mode” and press the Enter key.

Done!

Please I got a problem...I noticed my trackpad doesn't when I hav D̶̲̥̅̊ charger plugged in..dis problem jus startd last wk and I hav bEen using dis same charger for months nw...I take out D̶̲̥̅̊ chrger and evrythng goes bak 2 normal..even externals lyk mouse and pad don't work when I charge it..what do U̶̲̥̅̊ thnk is D̶̲̥̅̊ problem cos I don't get...pls help.

Pls ooo. Am using HP g62 laptop, but the touchpad is not working properly. Someone told me it could be the motherboard that is bad. Although it does not hang just that the cursor does not move except I use an external mouse. Pls any solution to this. Thanks

well 2gb dese days is just an average ram size, more will be better..

As for hard drives, it depends on what you want to do.. An ordinary word/browser user wont need much space unlike a graphic artist who needs to store alot of files

Yea. It should be able to, just make sure the one u are purchasing is pre activated or loaded with Serials At the Cover. Dou as for me I don't buy does discs , I normally do my way of downloading on torrent pages with good vouches!


Remember to ave a backup before reloading the OS!!

When was the last time it worked ?

Have you repaired your laptop recently ?

Has anyone disable your touch pad in the bios ?

What is the make and model number of the laptop ?

Windows 7 or Vista ?

Is the charger original, as in
proper charger not cheap ones
