First Nigeria will not scatter. Secondly, Jonathan is not transparent and excessively corrupt - nobody in his right mind make a deal with such person.

How can one justify smuggling money to South Africa to procure illegal arms when there legitimate ways to get it? Why is Jonathan afraid of the Front gate? Why must he always enter his good neighbour's house by jumping over the fence at the back-yard? Why is he exporting his Stealing-Is-Not-Corruption style of Government to other countries?

The Zoologist must be voted out before he sinks this nation with anarchy and corruption.

Can we all not turn this into a political debate yet again The main fact here is that the US refused to provide aid to us when we need ttem most. Just like the case of EBOLA and now this. They obviously want us to rot deeply so that they can invade the land milk out all our resources. undecided if they won't let us go elsewhere and break all ties with them.

The truth is

they dont trust this present administration

and they are trying to save lots of innocent citizens

same citizens that are being blown to pieces every now and then.
one doesnt need sophisticated weapons to kill innocent citizens and commit human right abuses, an ak47 will do, but an ak47 can hardly provide an effective offense against the terrorists who kill innocent citizens.

Well they made their point clear. Our military is enmeshed in gross human rights abuse which we as Nigerians who chose to be sincere to ourselves can't deny.

Besides, apart from the allegations against our military, it is obvious the US is waiting for the situation to get so terribly bad to the point where their interest, whatever it is would be best met.

Must everything you say all about attacking GEJ? Can't you just make an informed comment about the topic under discussion rather than attacking the president every time? I have noticed your comments and they are always full of hate and vile language! Please bro, just know that excessive hatred and criticism is a form mental dementia. So don't allow yourself to descend to that level

What has the Nigerian army done with the current stock of weapons we have. Nigerian army is responsible for arming boko haram. They abandon their weapons and tanks when they are under attack by boko haram. That is how boko haram acquire all the tanks and rockets used in fighting the army. The problem with the army is not lack of weapons but due to corruption and low moral

It is too unfortunate that folks like you who claim Nigeria so much have decided to trade Nigeria for political gains.
US is obviously being mischievous and all you do is insult Mr President!
Anyway, just know that when Nigeria finally scatters, and you start looking for whom to blame, add your name on that list.

NIGERIAN GOVERNMENT are DUBIOUS .

After the arms are approved.
They will "dash" them to boko boys

And label it "stolen"

Sometimes I wonder how our leaders think!

Adversity has led to the development of all the major great economies. For example world war 2 , revolutionalised aviation industry in western Europe and Russia.

Everyday our inept leaders cry wolf over America. What is so difficult in producing guns, missiles and military aircrafts.? We have over 1.5billion tonnes of confirmed iron ore in Nigeria.why always blame America!

We have an army of under employed or unemployed engineers, chemists, physists and even project managers that can lead our weapons programme.

PDP, APC and all our leaders are dumb.

How is the US being 'mischievous'? If US laws prevents the Americans from selling arms to countries with alleged human rights violations, why condemn them? Why should you expect the U.S. to breach their own laws?

Using the U.S. as an excuse is just despicable. A huge portion of our weaponry ( helicopters, tanks, fighters) are Chinese or Russian. Why not simply buy from them instead?

This is a non-issue. And the Ambassador is a clown for accusing the U.S. of not stopping Boko Haram when the Nigerian Army that is more equipped than Boko Haram is failing at the task.

Nonsense.
