the following questions and scriptural answers summarises the reason why we Jehovah's witnesses firmly abstain from blood transfusion or consumption:
What Does the Bible Say About Blood Transfusions?

The Bible’s answer:
•Genesis 9:4 . God allowed Noah and his family to
add animal flesh to their diet after the Flood but
commanded them not to eat the blood. God told
Noah: “Only flesh with its soul—its blood—you
must not eat.” This command applies to all
mankind from that time on because all are
descendants of Noah.
•Leviticus 17:14 . “You must not eat the blood of
any sort of flesh, because the soul of every sort
of flesh is its blood. Anyone eating it will be cut
off.” God viewed the soul, or life, as being in the
blood and belonging to him. Although this law
was given only to the nation of Israel, it shows
how seriously God viewed the law against eating
blood.
•Acts 15:20 . “Abstain . . . from blood.” God gave
Christians the same command that he had given
to Noah. History shows that early Christians
refused to consume whole blood or even to use it
for medical reasons.
Why does God command us to abstain from blood?
There are sound medical reasons to avoid blood
transfusions. More important, though, God
commands that we abstain from blood because
what it represents is sacred to him.— Leviticus
17:11; Colossians 1:20 .

it evidently shows that Jehovah's witnesses choose to obey Gods command even if it means loosing our lives while doing so; because we are very certain that the sacrifices we make to uphold Gods standard never goes unnoticed, Jehovah will in the right time reward us with everlasting Life in a world free from sicknesses nd death!.

also this choice of blood abstinence doesn't show that we don't believe in medicine or medical treatment in fact We seek the best possible medical care for
ourselves and our families. When we have health
problems, we go to doctors who have skill in
providing medical and surgical care without blood.
We appreciate advancements that have been made
in the medical field. In fact, Surgeons
regularly perform such complex procedures as
heart operations, orthopedic surgery, and organ
transplants without the use of blood transfusions.
Patients, including children, who do not receive
transfusions usually fare as well as or better than
those who do accept transfusions. In any case, no
one can say for certain that a patient will die
because of refusing blood or will live because of
accepting it. bloodless treatments
developed to help Witness patients are now being
used to benefit all in the community. In many
countries, any patient can now choose to avoid
blood-transfusion risks, such as blood-borne
diseases, immune-system reactions, and human
errors....

God has released so much knowledge I the field of medicine that anyone who does not have money to access medical care could die anyhow.

But if you have the money and you still die because of religious dogmatism, then you chose to die.

Take for instance on a sunday morning someone summoned me to go to church and I refused. I insisted I have a girl coming over and I refused to go to church because I want to fvck. 30mins later the church was bombed and everyone died including the person that summoned me. Will I have to thank God for making me stay at home fornicating instead of go to church and die

She was lucky to be in a teaching hosp wia suggestions were made of buying a particular drip DAT can stand as blood in liquid form. rip sister, I admire your courage and conviction, you lived and died for what you believe. Anybody that says you are foolish is a hypocrite. This is an example for me. I chose to be a JW. nobody forced me to do that. anybody that has died has been aquited of his or her sins. and for her immediate family members don't worry or weep much for she will be resurrected and she is no longer worried about living in Satan's system of things, she is in peace now wiaiting for Jehovah to resurrect her instead of doing the wrong thing just to stay alive and later loose the same life a short while later. A baptised Witness who unrepentantly accepts a blood transfusion is deemed to have disassociated himself from the religion by abandoning its doctrines and is subsequently subject to organized shunning by other members.
Certain medical procedures involving blood are specifically prohibited by Jehovah's Witnesses' blood doctrine. This includes the use of red blood cells, white blood cells, platelets and blood plasma. Other fractions derived from blood are not prohibited. Watch Tower publications state that some products derived from one of the four primary components may be so similar to the function of the whole component and carry on such a life-sustaining role in the body that "most Christians would find them objectionable".For procedures where there is no specific doctrinal prohibition, individuals are to obtain details from medical personnel and then make a personal decision.

I'm not a Jehovah Witness but I tend to respect their opinion on this to some extent based on the delicate nature of the blood as supported by science.
