Ogojohn! if truely you want to clear your name come out and say your own side of the story before we pass judgment.
You could have let him know the type of dish you are sending, the transport fare and every other charges involved before sending the dish t him.
However, I still reserve what I wanted to say until I hear your own side of the story.
Even if he doesnt "get his sense corrected", we cannot all get our senses incorrect.

Before a transaction is consummated, there should be a meeting of the mind as regards to the product or service to be rendered: the brand, model, quality, size, quantity, mode & cost of delivery to mention but few, all these put together will impact on the final selling price. When the transaction is not face to face, it is very easy for the seller (in particular) to breach the conditions especially when full payment is made upfront.
In this instance, 3 conditions are involved: Size, quality and mode and cost of delivery.
Lets start from the agreement prior to the payment, and I ask
1, Was Ogojohn not aware his client was negotiating for a brand new 1.2m eurostar dish?
2, Is N7,000.00 a fair price for a brand new 1.2m dish in Onitsha?
3, Did Ogojohn ask for additional N1000 for waybill?

Ogojohn should be responding to Q, 1 and 3 while everyone esp those in Onitsha shld contribute to no 2.

While you are responding,
let me quickly point out that people Ogojohn sent similar dish to is irrelevant here as a defence b/c we dont know the terms & conditions those transactions were consumated and cannot determine by word of mouth even if the clients testify unless there is a solid evidence.
In this particular transaction, the dish in question is not lost in transit- It can be measured by a third party(a professional in the field) to determine the actuall size which is in contention now, from the pics it is evident that its not brand new which Ogojohn is not denying.
Before my recommendations the onus is on Ogojohn to clear His name from this evidently fraudulent charges and not just calling it a falsehood.

I'm the customer 2. I believe his older and 3. He ripped me off. Also i gave him benefit of doubt for one good month to return 1500 back to me. He even ask me if 1500 is my problem.
@all, gurus in this honourable house thought us that dish are measure in HORIZONTAL not vertical. And i measure with taylor tape rule which gave me 100cm. Perhaps, ogo john thought am a newbies or a novice in sat. Also i think the picture i posted depict a used dish, correct me if am wrong. I placed many calls not to talk of the money i use in bringing the dish back home from the pack (extra cost) i try to savage not bringing this issue here. I have 1.8 eurostar (prime focus) Which i bought 10500 at alaba myself because i go to lagos often but couldn't find 1.2 in the market.
Have done business with KINGJAMES here before and he had no problem with me. Let OGOJOHN tell his own part of the story. He also gave me an option to send his dish back to him in the course of our conversation and i told him his dish is still with the driver before we now agree i will go and collect the dish while he will return 1500 in to my account despite it is 1. A used dish and 2. Not up to what we bagain (100cm)

Even though you wasted my time that day and I had to wait for an additional 30mins at the agreed time of meeting whereas I was on transit that day, The product you sold to me was the exact specification which I am now enjoying. Learning point- 1. There was a meeting of the mind as par Product, model, size, quality and mode/cost of delivery which determined the final price according to DIMITRILAVROV.
2. OLX will always say meet in person(Face to face) and complete the deal/transaction. In this instance since its cumbersome to meet in person in case of another day get somebody who you know or trust at the seller's location to meet the seller face to face on your behalf and complete the deal at least you know you are in a safe hand.

That said, Ogojohn should give us strong evidence why we should not term him a criminal and possibly report this matter officially for proper investigation. Its so easy to fetch him out even though the account number he used to consummate the transaction according to your evidence belongs to a third party.

I could get signal from Intelsat 14@45west close to a fence! and 68.5east close to one storey building at the backyard with 80cm dish!where dish height is almost same level with the fence and a bit away from the fence!

I did business with Ogojohn once and I can attest to his integrity. The Eurostar dish is 1.1 meter dish and it can also do similar work of 1.2 meter. I bought same from him in the days of MBC movies @ Eutelsat 7 west nwa beam and I was able to track the bird in less than 5 minutes. I still use it for MBC prosports. So you guys should settle amicably

First i was under the impression that Mr Akp 2005 will trust my judgement when i got to the park and discovered that i undervalued the cost of transporting the dish to Abuja based on the other transactions i had. When he received the said dish and was complaining about the cost. He was so bitter that i asked him to return the dish so that he will have his refund. But when he couldn't do that even at the cost of the price i transported it to him. He now decided to retain it. At no time did he complain that the dish was under sized till this one he is saying now. i will want an independent person to go and measure that dish and give us the actual size of that dish.
On the allegations that it is a used dish. When he said that. I said that I do not supply old dish but if he wasn't satisfied with the dish that he can return it back and have his refund. When he decided to accept the dish. He said that I will pay him back the extra 1.5k he paid to the driver but i refused tellin him that I can not pay for a goods he bought for himself. On his insistence i accepted to pay part of the transport cost. But after some Few days. He. started calling threatening to blackmail me over here on this transact and actually that was when i decided to leave him to fulfill his actions and threat.
On the words of some fellows whether what i sold to him was a fair price. Yes it was because that is the price i have sold to other members here. The price of the dish is constant and within my control but the transport cost can be affected by many variables. Therefore my dear business customer who can not trust my sense of judgement is not worth my sweat based on the fact that what i did to him was a charity work.
Let another person go and measure that dish. it is a new dish.

You've been accused before the whole world! and this is all you have to say? From your statements, the fact still remains that the agreed selling price is N7,000.00 plus N1,000.00 for transportation which you, yourself quoted based on your own judgment. Now if at any point you discover you sent a wrong quotation before execution, you are bound to get you client's consent to vary the terms of agreement b4 execution. Did you do that?

If not you are the one to bear the additional cost. (N1,000.00)

Secondly He, paid you the Initial quotation of N1,000.00 for transportation and when you got to the park and according to you the price is now N2,000.00, you pocketed N500.00 out of the N1,000.00 he sent and passed to him a fresh bill of N1,500.00.

The least I expected from you is to share the extra cost equally give the driver N1,500.00, inform him before passing on the extra N500 cost to him. (my opinion)

I cannot comment now on the size since the only way to determine it is by taking the measurement.

It is insulting for you to assume that i pocketd 500 naira. I suppose he is the one who is been treacherous here. Twisting facts. i do not expect that tellin him about the cost transport is the issue here since it is not fixed. What i gave him was a conservative price because i had no intention of gaining from that. so by saying this now is wicked and uncalled for.
On the pictures he pasted. He should know where he got that or what he did with the dish. It very clear that his integrity can be called to question here when he has consistently maintained that what he received is a 1meter dish even when he has measured it with a tape.
