Hello people we have been deliberating outside this thread on a way forward and I think we have arrived at a decision.

1) we need to find out how much is available from the initial donations made

2) He needs to be placed on dialysis for now in a good medical facility

3) Passports need to be gotten if the OP does not have any yet (this will be found out). 1 for the OP and one for who would accompany him

4) Cost of flight and medicals in total

5) All calls to the OP must stop as only marcjane and caracta can speak to him or his family member

6) Enquiries have already started per a reputable hospital outside Nigeria to move him to

7) A fresh account set up which we can monitor. If TEHN cannot handle it then we look for another option. donated funds will go here for now until the preparations for flying out is completed then the money can be released to the family.

8 ) Finally we need to push the first donation session behind us and start afresh in ernest. However I was asked to call back by 10am 2moro abd they would refer me to Primus india where the actual transplants take place. Before they can give a cost for transplant they would need to physically see and assess the patient in abuja. So will call 2moro

I feel compelled to let the posters who have invested time and money and emotions and still investing to know the situation of things
I apologize on the behalf of those who went to see DJ if anyone feels they didn't report accordingly,this is very sensitive but at the same time you deserve to know.

The true picture is that DJ needs more specialized care than the hospital he is at can offer him
His liver is bad and sadly it has also affected his kidneys
Transplant is inevitable and now we have two failing organs
The care after transplant is not easy,it is long and extensive
Most importantly money is needed desperately to make this happen
Lots of money
I am therefore appealing to us all to give
Ask your mother father,godfather,politician friends,banker friends and business friends to give generously
To the politicians reading,please help save the life of this young man
The people reading here are the voters
Any politician that makes this happen for us,we will let everyone hear of this good gesture.

Just called St. Nicholas. They don't handle liver transplant but only kidney. And Yes,they have dialysis machine. She couldn't state the bill saying he has to undergo some tests there first. Way forward?

You know this from jump....now is time to deliver the report and we have to hear all this bull?? Why can't we at least get the headlines?....we are not asking for the nitty gritty details.
