I have been on the phone with Primus abuja and THEY SO NOT DO TRANSPLANTS! However I was asked to call back by 10am 2moro abd they would refer me to Primus india where the actual transplants take place. Before they can give a cost for transplant they would need to physically see and assess the patient in abuja. So will call 2moro

Primus hospital Abuja does both kidney and liver transplant.

Philantropy and charity are good but are nothing more than tokenism which can never stand in the place of working institutions. My deduction from all information so far on this thread is that DJ is suffering a multi-organ failure most likely originating from a decompensated CLD. ( I ignore if a malignant or metastatic liver disease has been ruled out as a primary cause..)
My humble suggestion going by priority is that we should get this guy as quickly as possible to a dialysis center for this to be started as urgently as possible while still making plans for any organ transplant.
Reason : If really the kidney has failed to the extent of requiring a transplant then the only logical thing to do as a matter or urgency is to start dialysis and this helps to buy time for other plans and this may also help with his ascitis.
Anything transplant definitely needs some time for preparations with all the bureucratic bottlenecks not forgetting the fact that fund is still being raised.
So Please let's move this guy to a dialysis centre latest today while we still go ahead with other plans.

I hear you...cause I'm thinking if the liver and kidneys....the two purifying organs got problems...then his blood got a whole lot of toxins to dispose of....plus the medications. I can see dialysis helping him to cope and to have him in a better state for Plan B...whatever that is.

1. Lab results

3. Doctor's impression and diagnosis
That way their doctors can have a rough picture of patient

She will text me her email to send those and she will give it to their doctors to review and their doctor will write me back by email of their impression and the way forward.
( at this point I plan on calling and speaking with the doctor )

I could pass on the phone number of the lady to one of you in Nigeria
The people that took a trip may need to go again to help collect and scan and send these things please
