Mr President needs to sack all his military chiefs. One thing which is funny about this story is why didn't the nigerian soldiers use the weapons in their camps against the insurgents?they had the weapons ,refused to use them but decided to run. There is more to this story .I think the problem of the nigeria military isn't about weapon but morale, these soldiers simply don't want to put their lives on the line anymore ,knowing fully well their wives and children won't be taken care of in case anything happens to them. Maybe by the time boko haram invades abuja ,gej will sit up .

Read the article carefully. This is leadership failure. A battalion of 300men is a degradation of the usual Nigerian Army manning levels. Where did all the others go?. I would like an immediate retirement of Badeh. The Chief of Army Staff should also be invited to a one on one interview with the President. They are destroying the fabric of the Nigerian military. We have never had it so bad. When you keep a battalion of just 300 men, you better have the airforce on standby with good close air support combat jets ready to intervene when the men are overmatched but this was not provided.
