We were chatting last night when My neighbour, a single female banker told me what they (single ladies ) are facing in her office.

She said, despite most of them being beautiful, their male customers always prefer and go after their cleaners, messengers and security personnel instead of the polished bankers.

She said that she has witnessed about 6 weddings of their cleaners who got married to their customers.

She was asking if men think they will be very expensive to maintain due to the way they dress.

After so much talk I didn't just know what to tell her.

tell them to contact me...i dey find wife...
Guys, Any opinion why this happens ?

Some of the female bankers carry their shoulders so high. One of them, my close friend complained to me how her male suitors always run away, i thought that she has not found the correct man for her. Then i tried hooking her up with a relative of mine who was looking for a good girl because i used to know her as one back then. When my cousin started calling her he noticed she was not friendly and was thinking he was coming to toast her because of her money even though she did not know my cousin's status. He lost interest and went his way. Hardly you see any of them being friendly unless they find out your pocket is very heavy then you see them eyeing you.

I can tell u bcs I have worked in a bank, many of those ladies bankers seem to look down on some guys who are not loaded in cash, and not available, so the guys goes for those available to them. Is a pity what many so called working class ladies go through dis days, but tell them to mellow down, I remember one in my church I told I want to marry her but she snubbed me, up till now she is still single, while am married with a kid, and my family are doing great.

*sigh* Look, men and women have certain standards.

But of course every one has standards............

the only problem is that your high heels and degrees and titles at your fanciful glorified servitude job are not the standards required for Marriage. Unless of course you think the ability to count money and wear skirt suits are what qualifies you to be a wife.

Kimmo:
The kind of man who would willingly choose a cleaner, thinks of himself as being happy with her choice of work/person. There are certain jobs people choose because of a lack of choice. The average university graduate in Nigeria would go for teaching rather than cleaning, for instance.

Hmnn, so to your mind a person (human being) is firstly their job title or description, or profession etc before they are actually persons?

When you see a human being the first thing you think is 'cleaner', 'security', 'banker' before "human being', 'woman', 'man', 'child of God' e.t.c

Honestly i never knew the job title is the criteria to choosing a person to date, or sleep with...........

i suspect a lot of men do not too.

Kimmo:
There's no way to equate a cleaner with a banker, unless the person cleans Jonathan's room in Aso rock or runs a professional cleaning outfit.

so a cleaner at Aso rock is a better 'cleaner' than the one at my 1 room apartment? or rather is a better human being/ more 'standardized'

grin grin grin grin grin grin grin

some life lessons have to be learnt the hard way.

Bloody unfair. But I don't suppose they'll be interested in the type of men who would go after a cleaner. I don't mean that as an insult, to either profession, but these are two different kinds of women.

It has to do with what African men call "wife material". An average female banker is well educated, articulate and professional, already well made financially. She talk to people professionally, and boldly.she looks hybrid and expensive. Sometimes these qualities makes a man wonder wether she ll b a submissive wife. On the other hand, the cleaner is simple polite and submissive, she looks like a better wife material.

What majority of serious guys seek for in a lady they want to settle down with are: humility, availability and simplicity, not status or career, and unfortunately, many female bankers and some working class ladies lack those qualities cos ladies get easily carried away by little career achievementsmiley

Men who are ready to marry and have a stable source of income don't care what a lady does for a living...all they want is the things I mentioned above, ladies take notesmiley

Maybe they dont have availability, but in this life, nobody wants simplicity, people just say they do cuz thats all they can get for certain reasons.

Everyone is attacking the banker, what about the cleaners, what if thats the only way they can get better living standards.

I just feel it all depends on the person you get to like, why are you a man that wants to be the head of a family intimidated by a stern looking

female banker, yeah some are unapproachable. But as a dude, if u want it, u know how to get it.

There was this lecturer in my schools. A professor. Has served in the position of H.O.D many times in different school. Guess what! The only certificate his wife has is her character. I mean she doesn't even have primary school leaving certificate but she speaks very well(with a sweet accent o) and is very industrious.

I just had to say dt so u change ur mindset smiley

Ideal homes are not managed with sophistication and branding-like life style. I have a wife at home and she knows that all her 'bling bling' life style stops at the secretariat. Once she steps her feet at home she is a mum and a wife period.

Now.. that's the kind of wife every man wants.

There are indeed two types of women:
1. Those that stoop to conquer and
2. Your type that see the first group as inferior

While you are there honing your overblown complex, others are improving their lives.

Your eye go only clear when oga begin run things with house girl who has more manners, more skills and maybe more brains than that coconut wrapped with expensive Brazilian hair.

what is it about female bankers who cries of being broke always.

a cleaner is also human. some are graduates with no desired job.they learn how to be humble and respect others.

there are cleaners and security who turns out to be a boss later so we should stop seeing anyone as inferior.

and any man that can afford a wedding is doing fine enough to also take care of a banker.

DjAndroid... Your answer(my opinion):

uwa1:
Some men feels dat some bankers r too busy and too career driven to make a good house wife.

Like what uwa1 Most Nigerian men are looking house wives... They are insecure and want women they think they can control..

ogawisdom:
A female banker is a no no they r used by both their boss n some rich clients. Above all their schedule is tight. Wat shall it profit a man to marry a female banker dt is already married to her job - female bankers can't b married by a productive man but by unproductive men but they look down on them hence they remain single. A woman shld nt b too busy for her home she must b in a job dt is flexible to me.

From ogawisdom view,

Most Nigerian men are insecure and already conclude in their minds that corporate ladies(high standard) are b*tches..
High standard ladies would leave the responsibilities of the home to a house maid and cook..
