My friend said that he can never marry a lady who has not been to school. His reasons (1) Because he has suffered enough to be a husband to an illitrate (2) The lady will demote him especially in public outings. His he right? |

Depends on what he considers 'extremely' important to the success of a relationship he finds himself in. If he thinks the 'social status' of his relationship will make him stay bound to his partner, fine. Haven't you heard? 80% of a child's intelligence is from the Mum... Illiteracy isn't all about Not Undergoing Formal "Edjukeisn" and all... It's more about not exposing your mind to reading... If my fiance- To -Be doesn't have all the formal "edjukeisn" but an addicted learner with character to match... I'll readily propose... Many graduates are illiterates... Why? All literates were previously illiterates. Teach her to read & write..its really a fixable problem. Literacy is a set of skills that obviously can be learned. So, i think this is an odd point to base a decision on. Love is all that matters  |
