Pardon who?....we don't need Keshi we missed Uche and Mba at the world cup because Koshi thought football was words......it a shame, ....he should go and do wonders somewhere else....may be Benin rep, Ethiopia, Sudan..... Just like players coaches should know when to go. If he had left after the nations cup, he would have been more valuable. 1 Like |

I don't know. Cus, no coach wins all the times.Keshi isn't a magician. He's a tactician, and it doesn't work all the times. Lets support him. |

I wonder why people are being myopic in this issue. We have failed to realisethat none of our players is a super star the best SE's player @ present is Enyeama. The players have scores within themselves which comes to bare even on the pitch. How mu h can a coach do in this situation. It took Westerhoff 5 yrs to build d best team we ever had; USA '94. Lets allow him prove himself, respect his decisions and make meaningful contribution via constructive critisism . Would anybody say LVG is technically deficient cos of Man U's unimpressive runs @ d moment? 1 Like |

As far as am concerned even if dey are going to sack keshi,he should not be replaced by amodu cos keshi is better......... Exactly! Not Amodu, since he left eagles which country has he coached? hw many coaching causes has he taken? Wat dey no to do is to lobby within d FA 2 get back 2 position. |

when asked 'who is arguably the S.E all time best coach?' most of us will quickly say westerhof. 'what did he accomplish?'... afcon trophy and a 2nd round berth at the '94 world cup. but we fail to see that keshi has achieved same within a shorter stay. team keshi all the way 2 Likes |

You know what I think..... I think Nigeria needs a foreign coach who's got sound reputation, while this coach is there, a local coach could be placed as his assistant so he can understudy this foreign coach!.... I just feel that would help us so much |

The thing about keshi is dat he will use gud players during qualifiers and wen d main tournament comes around he will start inviting match rusty n clueless players like ruban Gabriel, uche nwafor n flavour wannabe uchebo. I tink he should not be given a new contract. |

when our first lady resigned from the post of perm sec in bayelsa, i tot she wanted to take over from Keshi. well, since we have agreed to sack Keshi and no normal coach will come to this dark country to live and coach, i am suggesting we make patience the coach. she is the best candidate for the job at the moment. if any coach will come here, he will need generator and it is obvious he is not used to coming out in the middle of the night to change over and the possibility of running into boko haram when u come outside, hmmmmmmmmmmm. pls madam, take over this job and do not let ur english deny u this grt opportunity.

He must go o. Was he nt d one dat says he wont feature Uche Ike in his squad, now it was d same Uche dat scored 4 him. Assuming we use al our best legs b4 dis match, we shouldn't ave found ourselves in d situation, i pray we wil win our last game convincingly. |

Nigerians are so funny, as soon as you beat a mediocre team you think all is well?! Keshi DOES NOT KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT tactics. Nothing changed today. Honestly NOTHING changed at all... how many shots on goal did we have? How often did we break them down? Lets keep it real with ourselves, we were poor! We have been poor literally all year so why are we getting excited because we finally won a game by a 2 goal margin? Don't you think it is a shame the African Champions have to always leave it late? Some teams have already qualified with GAMES to spare... common guys wake up and smell the coffee, your big boss is not good enough. Its not rocket science! 1 Like |

Kog45: He is speaking the truth! Football is not about fielding 11 players and tell them to do whatever they want. Stop watching football from that perspective. If you put Messi in CDM, will he be effective? No! Thats what you call tactics. Properly using the players at your disposal |

ini4brandon: How old were you when Westerhof was coach?! He achieved that by playing good football, not huff and puff, hoping Musa does something spectacular. He had a solid TEAM! We do not have that anymore. 1 Like |

Re: Should We Pardon Keshi For The Result Against Congo? by balladin: 6:38am On Nov 16, 2014 |
stigman:For how long will he build? He has been building since 2012. Managed to put together a team that won the afcon, instead of the team getting stronger from there it was getting weaker. Because Keshi continued to build by introducing average players for better ones. Except for Aaron Samuel though. He should know the core of his team by now. |
