there's nothing wrong with the question it just depends on who you're asking and your relationship with the person like why the hell would you want to know your cousin's virginity status. it also depends on what was being discussed before u brought up the topic for eg. u were gisting about iPhone 6 then u pop the question 'are u a virgin' which makes it extremely awkward.
