15 DEVDAS (2002).

Devdas is a young man from a wealthy Bengali family in India in the early 1900s. Paro (Parvati) is a young woman from a low class family. The two families lived in a village in Bengal, and Devdas and Paro were childhood friends.Devdas goes away for a couple of years to live and study in England, he returns to his village. Suddenly both realise their easy comfortability in each other's innocent comradeship has changed to something different. Devdas realises Parvati is no longer the small girl he knew. Paro looks forward to their childhood love blossoming into their lifelong journey together in marriage. Of course, according to the prevailing social custom, Paro's parents would have to approach Devdas' parents and propose marriage of paro the to Devdas as Paro longed for.
Paro's grandmother approaches Devdas's mother with a marriage proposal. Although Devdas's mother loved Paro very much she wasn't so keen on forming an alliance with the poor next door neighbour. Devdas Mukherjee's life spirals further and further out of control as he takes up alcohol and a life of vice to numb the pain.

In her quest to survive in court and bring justice to lowborn commoners like herself, she makes many allies such as her devoted protector Cha Chun-soo (whom she considers an older brother despite not being blood-related), the police chief Seo Young-gi, and the court ladies Jung and Bong. Dong-yi becomes a royal concubine with the rank of Suk-bin, then bears a son who, under her tutelage, later becomes the 21st king of Joseon,Yeongjo, the father of Crown Prince Sado and grandfather of Yi San.

Actually, ive not seen any of your listed movies but u re right that 3idiots is a funny movie but also touching, mixed emotions like a friend posted on my thread. Will try and check out the movies on your list, thanks bro.......
