what kinda human being does background checks before befriending another? in most cases, people become friends before they even get to start talking about family & other issues.

I had this friends that would always act as if we were cool, then they hold a party and not even a word, one day I just erased them from my life.

well I once a deeper life friend back in sec school. really liked her but she started avoiding me after I jokingly made some derisive comments about some of their doctrines. guess she was avoiding my 'bad influence'.anyways guess you'll flow with whoever is right for you and vice versa.

I tell you, it was a birthday, a graduation a house warming, and to make it worse my roommate would be invited and me left out. Then the mean girls(two sisters) would later call me to go places, no explanation nada. I dumped them though and seriously they acted as if they were surprised lol

Imo, I think if your background or circumstances are considered a deterrent to friendship, then perhaps its not meant to be, as per topic.

I've had such a friend. her reasons were insecurity as i later came to understand. I think she was always scared of me out shining her 'which i would out rightly do without apologies'. So she started cytting off. But before she did, i gave her a run for her money.
