Wow, how interesting about Belgium!! Never been there, but thanks to your description I want to visit even more than before. I have lived in Germany and Austria, which sound similar to Belgium because they are also clean, pristine, interesting, well cultured, beautiful countries whose residents also have a big love for beer . Germans and Austrians are very tactful in how they communicate also and appreciate guests cleaning their plate and setting the fork and knife in diagonal when done as well. It is actually offensive to leave food in one's plate. They are very polite and follow a strict etiquette; must be a Germanic tribe thing . Additionally, being hot headed, showing emotions, and being loud is considered rude and obnoxious. There is so much history and a wealth of architecture and art to explore. Definitely no reason for boredom there .
