The Headquarters of the Ombaste (Eggon Militia) is under attack by Fulani Herdsmen. The attack was long coming as Baba Lakio The Chief Priest weeks ago announced to his people that there will be an attack in the village. They herdsmen are said to be using some sort of spiritual powers that help them disappear immediately after lunching attack on unsuspecting Eggon Communities. Nothing much is heard of yet about security, but a troop of the Military operatives from 177 Battalion of the Guards Brigade have been sighted heading towards the state capital from keffi, an may arrive there in the next one hour or so due to the slow movement of the APC and other trucks they are traveling in.

This lingering crisis is blamed on Governor Almakura who is desperate to retain his seat as he finds the Eggon people as a threat to his dreams following the fact that they supported him in 2011 giving him victory over an incumbent Governor from a ruling party.

The same agenda of ethnic genocide the arab janjawiids of sudan in darfur and south sudan perpwetuated against black africans is what the fulani are currently up to in the middle belt with the full backing of the nassarawa governor, al mukara

Now I know some people can sink as low as low can be.
why didnt you report the violence Ombatse militia inflicted on Shabu early this morning?
Speaking from one side of the mouth. No matter what you do peace would reign in Nasarawa and The will of the majority would prevail. You want power, campaign for it and win, do not intimidate and cow people into submission.
ps, do not try to transport your violence to Keffi.

Is Ombatse going into towns killing human beings and animals and burning houses along with cutting trees defence?

The only reason you are jumping around this thread like a monkey on heat defending Al Makura is because he is in your satanic fascist party.

I suggest you stop throwing stupid conclusions and assertions from that your backward osogbo enclave and go and do a proper investigation and reserch on the menace of the Fulani herdsmen afflicting the middle belt.

Just this afternoon, some Ijaw militants kidnapped a prominent Itsekiri high chief. Fighting has ensued between the two rival ethnic group right there in warri.

LIAR!

He is a Fulani Man claiming whatever. I know several Fulanis that claim Taraba, Nassarawa, Kaduna and Jos North.

Nassarawa was cut out from Plateau state. Fulanis are mainly from the core north, Bauchi, Sokoto, Katsina. Even those of them claiming Adamawa are settlers.

Even here in Abuja, I witnessed the last Hajj contingents for Abuja were mostly Fulanis.

All you APC Shilling Monkeys are so blinded with your fascist party that you will even defend the devil

Here you are siding with the Fulanis and defending your APC janjawiid Governor

The level of atrocities committed by the Fulanis over the years on indigenous people in the middle belt is by far greater than what even your Boko Militia has been able to commit.

One day, I pray that this impunity and blind eye you have given your Jihadist masters is extended to you in full nemesis levels.

Punch http://www.punchng.com/news/fulani-herdsmen-kill-10-in-fresh-nasarawa-attack-2/ :

Fulani herdsmen kill 10 in fresh Nasarawa attack
Ten persons have been killed and 40 houses set ablaze in a fresh attack on Eggon community of Gidan Gambo in Lafia East Development Area of Nasarawa State by people suspected to be Fulani herdsmen.

Investigation by one of our correspondents indicated that the attackers, well armed with AK 47 rifles, defied early morning rain and attacked the village, killing 10 persons, injuring scores, and burnt 40 houses.

Our correspondents gathered that the attack on Gidan Gambo is the latest among the various attacks on Eggon communities carried out by Fulani insurgents since hostilities broke out between the warring parties in the state.

Speaking to our correspondent in Gidan Gambo, a resident, Likita Alaku, who said he managed to run away from the attack, said that the Fulani, numbering over 400 and armed with AK 47 rifles, stormed the village at about 6am and opened fire and killed 10 people.

‘’We wake up with a heavy rain and saw many Fulani people with AK 47 rifles surrounded the village and started shooting in all directions and burning houses,’’ he stated.

Alaku, who expressed worry over the sophisticated weapon in possession of the invading Fulani, advised the federal and state governments and security agencies to disarm the gunmen to prevent them from attacking innocent people further.

The Police Public Relations Officer, Nasarawa State Police Command, Assistant Superintendent of Police Umaru Ismaila Numan, who confirmed the incident, said only one person was killed in the attack.

H e said the command had already mobilised its men to the scene of the incident in order to restore normalcy to the trouble area.

But further investigation by one of our correspondents revealed that about three bodies, who were killed in the recent crisis between Eggon, Fulani cattle breeders and Alago were found in some parts of Keana Local Government Area of the state decomposing. However, they were buried in the early hours of Tuesday by the inhabitants of the area.

Confirming the incident to one of our correspondents in a telephone interview in Lafia, the state capital, the PPRO said some people in Keana LGA reported the incident to the command, saying they found three bodies of unidentified persons in their area.

As for me I see no reason 4 these fight, but some politician have taken over d fight. It started when fulani herdsmen and d Tiv farmers were fighting, d Tiv got help from Eggon nd many of them wie killed which didn't go down well with the Ombste fighters. After Tiv nd fulani settle their fight, few weeks after d fight d Eggons attack d fulani residing in Nassarawa state and killed 5 of their members during d fasting period, d fulani waited till after d fasting b4 lunching their attack which wz brutal I must confess they showed no mess @all. They kept on attacking any village where d Eggons where found almost on a daily bases. The fulani have come out twice to finding a way of settling ds issue, on one of ds occasion, d Eggons wanted 2 killed d fulani Elders dat came but those guys came prepared as d all disappeared b4 d Eggons could attack. Mind you this is not a religious fight, because Eggons are Christians and Muslims so Religion shld nt be mentioned in these. For those saying d Governors is involve in these issue, pls find something else 2 say. That man has been d best thing that has ever happen to ds state.
